Cute little bathrobe to help dry off
After looking at the sizing chart, I got this in a size large for my 25lb pug mix. It does fit her, but she could have possibly gone for a size medium for a snugger
After looking at the sizing chart, I got this in a size large for my 25lb pug mix. It does fit her, but she could have possibly gone for a size medium for a snugger fit. I do recommend following the updated sizing chart. This is a really cute product though. I would use it as an after bath or pool time robe to help keep my pup warm while drying off. The light terry cloth makes it easy to wear and not heavy and cumbersome. I love the bright colors and fun summer design. The belly strap is nice and wide and easy to use and very easy to adjust to different sizes. The Velcro is very durable. This is definitely a product for temporary use. It is not meant to wear for hours, as the belly strap would not accommodate a male’s anatomy very well. It is in fact a bathrobe and not a coat. All in all, this is a very well made product for its intended use.

I would recommend sizing up. I followed the sizing chart, but the hood causes it to sit a little higher than expected. Still works great, though! I liked it so much, I bought a second one for my other dog.

First off, the sizing seems a bit off. I chose the XL size for my 50-pound dog, but it feels a little small. The hood doesn’t fit comfortably on his head, and the robe falls a bit short on his back. Interestingly, the part that wraps underneath my dog feels longer than expected. Additionally, my dog has a double-layer coat that holds a lot of water, even though his fur isn’t very long. Because the robe is so lightweight, it quickly gets soaked and doesn’t stay effective for very long. I often find myself replacing it with one of his heavier bathrobes to help him dry off better. I think this summer robe might be a better fit for dogs whose fur doesn’t retain as much water as mine does. On the positive side, it’s a cute design with a bright and cheerful color, which I love! While it may not work perfectly for every dog, I can see it being a good option for certain breeds or coats.
Fits my big dogs, and its adorable

It is long enough for their entire body. This is a thin towel like material, and I've put it on after i dry them off after coming inside from the rain, to give them some extra warmth for a little bit. I really like that its not too thick, and is breathable. They have other outfits as well, and what i really like about this one is there a piece that goes around their belly and velcro's so it doesn't move around.

The Frisco Summer Macaw dog bathrobe, first and foremost is simply the most adorable pet product I've ever seen. I've used it after bath time and intend to use it after the pool for my 45 pound Puggle. The material is very absorbent, and the size Large gives her plenty of comfy room. The design makes it extremely easy to use, no need to lift the dog to place their legs through holes. Just slipping it over the head and then secure by wrapping the portion of material around the stomach with the attached Velcro. 2 elastic pieces give this band area plenty of stretch and comfort to keep them dry and cozy. I'm very impressed with the quality of this item and I'm sure we'll use it often.
Flawed hood design
While the macaw design is cute, the robe doesn't stay in place on my dog. There is a velcro strap around the abdomen which holds it on, but the hood/beak part doesn't

There is a velcro strap around the abdomen which holds it on, but the hood/beak part doesn't stay up unless it covers my dogs eyes. His forehead is too small. While it may work on other breeds of dog, there is no way to keep the hood up for more than a few seconds with my labradoodle.

It would probably be more suitable for a 30 pound dog. I thought it would be great to put on her after a bath or when she came in damp from the rain or snow. It is made of a lightweight, stretch terry cloth. It goes on like a cape with a hood, but has Velcro straps that come under the belly and then wrap around the back to hold it snug, which was great.
