Will the zippered opening work with a harness? It looks like it may be too high up towards the neck.

This coat features an opening on the back for a leash attachment. It is positioned to attach a leash to a collar.

Is this a step-in design? I'm having trouble finding a jacket or sweater for my dog because he doesn't like having his paws handled - for example, me having to touch them to put them in an arm hole.

Will keep them warm

I bought these for my four puppies from a litter. They were a bit big for now but the sub zero weather came quick. i put a sweater on underneath and that helped

They were a bit big for now but the sub zero weather came quick. i put a sweater on underneath and that helped the large size issue. but well made and warm material. My only criticism would be if they had put bigger pieces of velcro on the jacket for more size versatility, they would have been fantastic.

Lightweight

Could be a bit longer, but it fits my 50# standard poodle who hates coats. Doesn't mind this one so much. Light weight, warm and easy on and off.

Warm!

Well I don’t know for sure if it’s warm because Hugo can’t talk but it seems comfortable and not heavy! Hugo loves it!

I made the mistake of believing a reviewer when he/she said the coat runs large. So i measured my dog and chose one size down. Wrong! Had to return that one,

There are better jackets out there

This jacket was too tight around my dogs neck but a little wide around the chest. The opening for a leash isn't really usable for a leash because the opening is

Better for using it with a harness under the jacket. Jacket was too short on the back, about 4 inches of my dog's backside was uncovered and it is definitely medium weight - not enough for New England winters
