This treat jar is well-made, with an airtight lid. It is perfect for storing cat treats. I wish it also came in a bigger size for dog bones.
This container has a wooden lid that fits tightly to keep biscuits fresh. It holds two bags of treats and is made of melamine. Great price and quality.
I spent hours online looking for just the right canisters, when all I had to do was look on Chewy! These are exactly the color and size I wanted, and the price is amazing for the quality. No flimsy plastic or shoddy lids, the melamine is heavy and the lids are nicely finished. As other reviewers pointed out the silicone seal is tight, but that's also what I wanted. I bought 4 for dog treats, but it looks like I'll be buying more for everything else I need on the counter!
I use this for my rabbits food. It keeps it neat looking and handy, instead of the ugly bag sitting out, and the pellets stay fresh because of the seal around the lid. Would probably work great for dog or cat treats as intended. Lol
Good size to hold cat treats, keeps the treats fresh and has a good seal on the top.
i don’t like how the lid just slides off or it’s impossible to get off. i’ve tried getting the top off with two hands and end up spilling the treats all over the place. there’s no way to grip the container either. if you want something that’s cheap and light weight then go for it but otherwise not a fan of it.
This jar is perfectly functional but not right for what we need. I thought the pull tab at the top would make this jar easy-open (like a glass jar we have for our dog's kibble) but for this jar you still need two hands. The jar itself is plastic instead of ceramic which I didn't realize, and the rubber seal is so secure that, although it's exactly what we want for our dog's treats to keep them fresh, the bottom isn't heavy enough (when you grab the tab on the lid, the entire jar comes with it instead of opening it). You have to hold the jar in one hand and the lid with the other to pull it open. Like I said, still functional, but we're running out the door every few hours while housebreaking our puppy and needed a quick access jar and unfortunately this wasn't it.
I really like this product because it is simple and fits in with my decor. I think it also traps the smell fairly well because my cats leave it alone until they hear me pop the lid off. Since I filled it with all the Christmas treats my cats received it's also too heavy for them to knock off the counter, but because of the material I feel like it might take a fall or two.
I have 3 cats, and yes I may over feed them with treats but this treat jar fits 2 value size of their favorite treats in it perfectly. Plus it looks great on the counter unlike the plastic temptations box.
Not gonna lie I didn’t read careful enough to figure the size I thought they were going to be the size of like a 16 oz mason jar so I bought three... they are much bigger but it’s okay, I wish they had smaller options though. They aren’t terribly huge just bigger than I had expected them to be! BUT they’re extremely nice quality and if they had smaller sizes I would buy a bunch more not just for treats but for other jar needs
