It’s soft and absorbent, great for messy drinkers. I suppose you can use it for feeding since spot cleaning is difficult, but you can throw it in the wash, and dry food would turn it into a snuffle mat. Also if you have cats who like to pee on bath mats, it would be a great target. But it absorbs a lot of liquid and seems to be waterproof when tested. I would use it for a fountain or large water bowl. Cute and functional.

This mat is perfect for us because it helps preventing water from getting everywhere. I love that It is soft. The biggest thing I love is that water does not get trapped under my dogs bowels anymore. I use to always worry about mold but not anymore. This is a must by if you’ve ever experienced that before!

We love this new microfiber mat as it does a wonderful job of soaking up even moderate spills while still keeping the floor dry. The size if anything could be a little bigger than I need for a pair of dog bowls, but depending on the size of your dog, it may be even better for larger dogs. Our dog is ~30lbs so, medium in size.

For summer, it’s slowing down the dust tracking and time will tell how it works for our wet and rainy winters. Note, it’s very plush so it’s a bit tall to go right up against my doors without interfering with opening and closing the doors.

Rug is super soft and helps muffle the sound if we drop any dog food on it when filling up the food bowls.
