Is this sweater fleece or Sherpa and would it be appropriate for a cat that goes outside? I live in the North and it gets incredibly cold here so I want something warm for my baby. He was a feral and, unfortunately, I can't make him into a totally indoor cat

This sweater is made of 100% acrylic material.

I don't see any sizing suggestions listed for cats... would a S or a M best fit a 10 lb cat?

For the best fit, match the dimensions on the sizing chart to your pet's measurements as closely as possible. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two. For the complete sizing chart, click the “Size” tab, next to the “Instructions” tab, just under the product photos.

Is the leash hole positioned for a harness, or just to connect the leash to a collar?

The leash opening is positioned just beneath the neck and can be used for a leash or harness depending on the placement of the d-ring.

I have a Standard Poodle and he is 45 pounds. He is about the size of the white dog in the picture shown. But the size chart is different. What do you recommend and what size does the white/golden color dog have on in the picture ??

The sizing chart may be located by clicking the “Size” tab, on the product page. To select the best size we recommend that you measure your individual pet's length, chest girth (circumference) and neck girth (circumference). To measure the length you'll measure starting at the base of the neck and end at the base of the tail. To measure the chest girth you'll measure around the broadest part of the rib-cage behind the front legs and to measure for the neck girth you'll measure at the broadest part of the neck. If your pet happens to be in between sizes, it's then recommended to select the bigger size.

When I saw this sweater on Chewy's Christmas television commercial I knew that I wanted to have it for my Golden. Using the measurement chart provided, I found the perfect fit. It is well made and easy to put on and take off. Winter found us early this year. Now she is extra warm and dry on our walks and looks great.

I bought matching sweaters for our 2 dogs. They are a good medium thickness. Only one complaint-there’s no hole for the leash for my one dog that wears a harness

The sweater is very soft and the design is lovely. I originally ordered an XL but that was too small. The XXL fits my pup better. She is a German shepherd/border

The sweater is very soft and the design is lovely. I originally ordered an XL but that was too small. The XXL fits my pup better. She is a German shepherd/border collie mix of about 49 lbs with a narrow waist but average chest and long body. The fit isn’t perfect as the larger size is a little wide through her belly while still being a little snug across the chest. But it works and is cute.
