Not sure about it.
I recently moved cross country and left my cat's old wall-anchored cat tree behind. I thought this might be cuter and wouldn't put more holes in the wall. It arrived very quickly! It was heavy, but very easy to build - only took about ten minutes or less. Sparrow immediately jumped on it. However, it's larger than I expected even though I measured for it beforehand. As other reviews noted, the sisal is placed in somewhat awkward places so my 12lb cat has to reach for it at weird angles. I was also surprised to find that the wood is kind of odd - almost as if it has been painted over rather than just sanded down. The shorter wood piece looks more natural but the larger one looks almost orange-y. I am tempted to just re-order my previous tree (Trixie Acadia), but I might give this tree a little bit more time before I decide since I am not sure if Chewy does returns for something this big.
Cute but wobbly and small for larger cats
The tree is very cute and easy to assemble. However it’s a little small for my 13 pound cat, he only fits laying down on the top part. The bottom cave is much too small for him. The base is pretty solid and I’m not worried about it falling over or breaking apart, but it’s very bouncy/shakey when my cat uses it. He really likes it and uses it a lot though. Overall I’d buy it again because of how nice looking it is, but there are some issues.
needs flat, hard floor
severely lacking information on chewy website about this item. despite much effort, it wobbles. adjusted shelves hoping for more stability. cat wants nothing to do with it and i am stuck with 30 pound cat tree , which must be disassembled , obtain large box, tape large box together, puts 30 lbs of parts in box , box takes up half open space in liv room, push box out the door, aggravate neighbors and wait for ups. oh i am soooo happy.
So far we love it
I assembled this about an hour ago and so far one of my two cats likes It. It was easy to assemble. Very heavy! So it's definitely not tipping over. The base was pretty weighted. You can kind of angle the perches how you want to a degree. Not sure how well the white fur will hold up but I guess I'll find out. A lot nicer looking than your average cat tree and much sturdier. It may not be huge but at least it's not made of card board.
Great cat tree
Great cat tree at the fraction of the price of some. Very sturdy doesn’t tip over and I have a big boy. He loves it!
Adorable and soft, but a little unstable and sheds like crazy
I wanted to love this one but as soon as I opened the box I was hit with a wind of dusty little fur fibers that spread across my entire apartment within no time. The construction also caused too much wobbling, and my kitten had trouble moving up and down the tree even though she’s quite small. Unfortunately I’ll be returning.
Can't say enough good things
I have been looking for a tree for literal months. I was being so picky, I wanted something small but tall, modern but not too pricey, etc. and it seemed like an impossible search until I found this one! First off, it looks beautiful. Great alternative to those gorgeous MAU trees if you're trying to save a little bit of money. But more importantly my cat LOVES this thing. He's a climber and an indoor guy so of course he'll love anything stimulating, but I've never seen him use so much of a tree before. Normally he'd just use the top perch but he's used every part of this tree - in fact I could barely set it up because he popped into the cave as soon as I took it out of the box and refused to get out! Plus he's a big guy so the larger perch is great. There's a lot of cute, more modern trees out there that are way too small for adult cats as far as perching goes. This perch is big enough for him to stretch out and enjoy the sun. 100/10 for this tree so far!
It's actually very nice
I really like this cate tree and have to say it is far nicer than any I have had before. It is more solid with a good weighted base. The top perch has more cushion than any before. The wood 'branches' take it up a notch in classy, if a cat perch can be considered classy - ha! All I know is my cat loves curling up in the top perch, it doesn't wobble when she jumps up it, and it looks fairly decent in the living room. I highly recommend
the perfect cat tree
Love this and so does my kitten. I wanted something aesthetically pleasing and this was perfect. Putting it together took only about 10 minutes, super quick and easy. Looks great anywhere in the house and my kitten loves it.
So cute, but not stable
This is exactly as pictured and so cute! However, the top of the cat house is just a very thick cardboard. It’s not a stable surface and the biggest of the two branches screws into that u stable surface. I put my cat on top and the whole thing wobbles even though it’s built correctly and screwed in all the way. I’m super disappointed and will return
