The Frisco Breakaway Cat Collar is made in China and designed and tested to meet our high-quality standards.

How do I measure my cat for a collar?

As we currently have one size that fits most cats, it’s recommended to measure your furry best friend. Measure the center of their neck with a cloth tape measure, a few inches down from the base of the head. Pull the tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a tape measure, you can also use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there’s enough room for about two fingers between the collar and your cat’s neck.

Is this collar adjustable?

This collar can easily be adjusted using the collar slider. For best fit, ensure the collar is snug, but not too tight.

What is a breakaway collar?

A quick-release breakaway buckle clips in easily and stays on securely but comes off quickly if the collar is pulled or caught.

Clasps are too tight

I fear that if a cat got caught by one of these and fell off a desk or counter they would hang, rather than have the clasp open. I tried to stretch the sides of the male end, but it won’t go far enough to make a difference.
