My cats play rough so they’re constantly losing collars. These have held up well but they still have “breakaway” when they decided to run into the bottom of the recliner and it got snagged. So I guess it worked perfectly. My cats are both 14lbs and these collars are gigantic and have to be righted so much. Which is a good thing!

Didn't last very long

With my previous cats, who lived 16 and 17 years respectively, their collars lasted as long as they did. I bought this collar for my current cat and it lasted less

With my previous cats, who lived 16 and 17 years respectively, their collars lasted as long as they did. I bought this collar for my current cat and it lasted less than four years (thankfully he is still going strong!). Even though I didn't take it off very often, the plastic breakaway clasp has worn out and it keeps falling off, so I have to replace it. I liked the features, the color, and the fabric, but obviously the workmanship is lacking. Will not be buying again.

Collar loosens around neck

I have noticed that after I fit the collar on Ollie's neck, it loosens which would enable the cat to easily get it off. I normally leave his collar on where I can

I have noticed that after I fit the collar on Ollie's neck, it loosens which would enable the cat to easily get it off. I normally leave his collar on where I can fit two fingers comfortably between his neck and the collar. I am not overly concerned where Ollie is concerned as he was born blind, but for sighted cats who may go outside; the likelihood of the collar coming off depending on the level of play would be worrisome. The only time we would want the collar coming off is to breakaway if he is snagged on something. I do like the vibrant color of the collar. The collar would also fit a variety of sizes of cats from my 6.1 lb. Tux to a Main Coon or Ragdoll

Doesn't bell the cat effectively

The bell on this collar is too small, and too close to the fabric of the collar. When my cat walks, it does not tinkle at all.

The color and fit

It seems to be cheaply made. The brackets that hold the collar together don’t hold and the collar keeps getting bigger. One of the brackets appeared to be broken

It seems to be cheaply made. The brackets that hold the collar together don’t hold and the collar keeps getting bigger. One of the brackets appeared to be broken when it arrived. Wasn’t sure how it was supposed to look. I was offered a replacement collar and refund on this one which I got but these collars were sold out. Not very pleased with the replacement one but it was less cheaply made.

Good for a Small Dog Too

We have a 10 lb. Miniature dachshund. The breakaway dog collars were too large for such a small dog. So we tried this collar designed for cats and it worked well

We have a 10 lb. Miniature dachshund. The breakaway dog collars were too large for such a small dog. So we tried this collar designed for cats and it worked well. We took the bell off (easy to do). It cannot be used for attaching a lease, but we have a harness for our dog when taking her for a walk. The breakaway feature works well, for sure. The only real flaw is that the color fades after a short time, but we just order two at once they they last a lone time. This is a good product.
