Description

Put offensive litter box smells in their place by targeting their source with Frisco Odor Defense Honeysuckle Scented Clumping Clay Cat Litter. This clay litter has a patented odor defense system that works to reduce ammonia, the root cause of litter box odors. Plus, it has an added scent of honeysuckle. It doesn’t just cover up the unpleasant whiffs, but actually works around the clock to protect your nose from offensive smells—and gives it a soothing scent. With each use, the odor defense system is automatically activated, keeping the litter box smelling cleaner for longer—whether you have one cat or an entire kitty crew. The ultra-fast clumping action quickly traps and absorbs liquids to form hard clumps that are easy to scoop. Now both you and your kitty can feel good about what’s in the litter box, since it’s low dust for less messes too. And because it’s formulated to use less litter per clump, you can feel even better knowing you’ll also save money over time.

Key Benefits
  • Patented odor defense technology fights odor-causing ammonia to combat litter box smells at their source, with a soothing honeysuckle scent.
  • Forms clumps fast by quickly absorbing liquids on the spot to make scooping and cleanup easier. Fast-forming clumps also means odors don’t hang around for long.
  • Uses clay so it looks and feels like what your cat would use in nature, with the bonus of a calming honeysuckle scent.
  • Low dust formula helps minimize messes so you can handle all the litter box duty without the extra hassle.
  • Uses less litter per clump which adds up to long-term savings, and is perfect for multi-cat households.
Precautions

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii, a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

    Too many issues...

By Disappointed on Jan 8, 2021

I bought this litter because it is by Frisco. I don't usually have any problems with it. I'm really not happy with this one. It's really bad with tracking. It's all over my apt. The floors look like they have sand on it. I'm constantly having to sweep up the litter. The clumping is a issue as well. I scoop it out once a day. There's always been no problem with the others in clumping. The clumps of litter don't hold up to being scooped. I'm left with a lot of fragmented tiny clumps. There is absolutely NO scent. It doesn't smell scented. It's also pretty dusty. It's wiped off on the inside daily. Ugh.

    Not a good choice

By BaddCats on Dec 30, 2020

I've used many of the Frisco litter products over the years. All have been great, but this one was not good at all. I wanted to try something new & it was on a super sale for black friday. The price was a steal so I went for it and bought 4 bags. It's been a month & I'm 3 bags in. First off there doesn't seem to be a scent at all. Okay, not the biggest deal. Second there does not seem to be any odor defense at all. Third it does a very poor job of clumping. The pee seems to make a sludge instead of a nice clump like most clumping litters do. Which makes clean up a nightmare. Yuck! Fourth it tracks worse than any other clay litter I've ever used. Not sure what happened with this particular formula I've used many of the Frisco litter products over the years. All have been great, but this one was not good at all. I'll stick with other litters. … more

    Loved product

By Janith on Jan 4, 2021

I love this cat litter for the fact that it does help cover up the smell from permeating through the house. It covers up the smell quickly with a nice scent and clumps well to make cleaning easy. The only complaint was not with the product itself but with the packing. It wasn't taped well on the bottom of the box and the packaged wasn't wrapped well. Apparently the box was dropped at some point and a small hole broke through. There was a trail of kitty litter going through my house until we unpackaged on it and took care of the hole. Product just needs a little more care in boxing.

    Very effective litter

By Jonah on Nov 24, 2020

After looking through many brands of litter and reading other reviews for this one, I thought I’d give it a shot. I decided to make low tracking less of a priority and odor control the main priority. This Frisco litter did not disappoint. I have two cats - a large 11-YO boy who does huge pees and a 7-MO boy kitten who went through some diarrhea issues - and this litter did the job!! The odor control is amazing and it clumps very tightly, so cleaning the box is also way easier. (I live in a studio in Brooklyn so I can’t have any odor or my whole apartment reeks.) It comes in a bag, though, so be prepared for that. I am looking to get a little plastic bin to store it in so it’s easier to use, but other than that I will certainly keep buying this litter. … more

    The Best one!

By Tara on Jan 7, 2021

I have 3 cats and just use one box. The litter has really control the odor and is so easy to scoop out. Honeysuckle leaves a nice scent. I’m very happy I don’t have to replace the whole litter every time it’s ready to scoop and just fill in more. I will never go back to any other brands I tried.

    Better if unscented

By Hugs on Dec 12, 2020

Ben has a very sensitive stomach (can only eat canned Id) so any chemicals in the litter then licked off his paws induce vomiting. Not fun. Started this product 1 week ago, so far we're good . The texture is like coarse sand and it clumps fast. Hoping that's due to size of clay particles. Still, wish they would do an unscented

    Great Stuff!

By Darknstormy on Dec 1, 2020

I previously had an automatic litter box, so I hadn't got clumping litter in a while. This stuff is great! I'm sold! It clumps easily and the honeysuckle smell is noticeable enough to cover the activities taking place in the litter box. Super easy to scoop up and refresh easily. My cats seem to like it and though it tracks around the house a bit, nothing a litter mat isn't able to capture along with a vacuum. Overall, I'm pleased and will be purchasing again. I'm hoping they make larger bags or boxes instead of the plastic bags. I hate plastic waste.

    Garbage Product

By LPBBear on Dec 4, 2020

Because Arm and Hammer no longer produces the litter I used for many years I am forced to explore alternatives. Based on the reviews I saw here I decided to give a bag of this a try. I wish I hadn't wasted the money or time. To put it bluntly it is crap. 1. Tracking: If you want litter scattered everywhere this is the litter for you. With the Arm and Hammer product I would vacuum the main area my Cats are in twice a day. That area is where the litter boxes are so that was normal. The secondary area I would vacuum about once every three or four days. With this product I could vacuum both areas twice a day and more. It gets everywhere. 2. Litter Mat cleanup: With the Arm and Hammer product I Because Arm and Hammer no longer produces the litter I used for many years I am forced to explore alternatives. They are a mess all the time and the vacuum can't seem to pull this stuff out of them. Normally I hose them clean outside but since its WInter that ain't happening. 3. Clumping: If you've ever used a premixed pail of concrete quick repair from the hardware store you basically can imagine what this product looks like after your Cat takes a pee in it. I would guess this stuff would be a good substitute for that kind of product and that you might be able to set bricks with it. Very hard to clean out of the litter box to the point of feeling like it might break your litter scoop while scooping. 4. Weight: Holy crap is this stuff heavy! Nuff said there. Basically don't waste your money on this product. I am somewhat surprised Chewy even carries this garbage. Tomorrow morning I am going to remove it from the one litter box I am using to test this stuff and throw the used and the rest of the unused portion of the bag in the trash. I wouldn't actually give it any stars but Chewy's app won't allow that. In actuality it is zero stars. … more

    not too bad

By gigi on Dec 4, 2020

this litter clumps very well, but it was supposed to have a smell of honeysuckle. I smelled nothing. no scent of any kind. it does control the odor reasonably well. but there is no scent. It does have a lot of dust. I have to wear a mask just to scoop the litter because of how much dust starts flying around when I scoop. when my cats cover their mess dust is flying around them.

    Great litter so far

By lowerbackpain on Dec 2, 2020

I was running out of litter and was thinking of trying something new on Chewy. I found this one for a reasonable price (during a sale) so I thought it wouldn't hurt to try. I'm glad I ordered 3 bags because this litter is so much better than my previous ones. It is clumped. It leaves no dust. Highly recommend.
