I have three dogs that like to hang out with me in my office when I work from home. I bought two of these, in size large, to go under my double window that they like to look out of. I would have gone bigger, because I wanted a wider width, but I couldn't go any deeper than the large and still have a walking path between them and my desk. My dogs love them. At any point in time one to two of them are on the beds with plenty of room. Occasionally, all three will get on, but as they are all Labradors (ranging from 72-84 pounds) it gets a little crowded. I've had them for over a year, maybe two, and they still look great and the foam hasn't degraded. About to buy two more to put in my master bedroom under another double window. I really like that they have smooth fabric covers. They are easy to vacuum and look so much nicer over time than the sherpa look (which captures all the dirt and fur and never looks clean). I wash them infrequently - most of the time I vacuum and spray them to remove odors. When I do wash them, I use the gently cycle.
My dog has used this bed for almost 3 years now with no issue. She is a mild digger, but it has always been resilient. We decided to get a second one for another room, however, and she managed to dig a hole through the fabric in a single day. Very disappointed as the price has even gone significantly up since we bought the first one
I have purchased several "Orthopedic" dog beds for my 120 lb German Shepherd mix and this bed does not flatten to the floor when he stands or lays on it.
firm, does work, however, my dogs required a soft blanket for the top because they could not snuggle, cover could have been made of better material
This bed is very firm, quality is good. My old 15 year old arthritic 35 pound terrier mix likes it and fits well on it.
