Ordered this for my daughters deck they needed to block off. Color choices were good. Gate installed easy enough, it was just the prep work to the deck that took

Ordered this for my daughters deck they needed to block off. Color choices were good. Gate installed easy enough, it was just the prep work to the deck that took time due to the side posts not aligned. The gate is solid but the only question will be how well it holds up as far as rust or appearance. The paint does seem coated very well and I think it will be fine. Being adjustable is a big plus as well and other gates I looked at were almost double the price for outdoor quality.

Open and closes easily in freezing temps

My last gate wouldn’t open when call and icy. This gate opens and closes with no problems so far. Fits perfectly at bottom of stairs so dogs can’t leave but people

Best Gate

This gate is so much better than the pressure gates that *can* be knocked down. This was has screws to secure into side walls. Gate swings easily in either direction

This gate is so much better than the pressure gates that *can* be knocked down. This was has screws to secure into side walls. Gate swings easily in either direction and was easy to install. Beautiful brown color looks great and has held up to weather. Wish they would make a 41” version. Very secure and great value.

We purchased this gate to replace an old one used to block off the stairs on our deck. This one opens and closes easily with a nice latch to keep it locked. The width adjustability is great. The finish is sturdy which will prevent rusting. Would definitely purchase again if need be. Keeps our little doggo safe on our deck.

Defective and missing parts

It looked heavy duty until I noticed 2 metal pieces were broken off. These pieces attach to gate and allow it to swing back and forth. They are so thin and you can

It looked heavy duty until I noticed 2 metal pieces were broken off. These pieces attach to gate and allow it to swing back and forth. They are so thin and you can see where they broke off from where they were welded. I don't believe this gate would last long if they weren't broken off because 1/16" of metal can't hold up the weight of the gate. I will be returning this gate. It is expensive and a poor quality design that comes put together upside down too.

Lots of comments about hinge being upside down. I think it’s the welded pieces on opposite side that are wrong. They need moved, not the hinge. Looks to me all the gates are actually upside down. Rounded corners should be up, not in the bottom. Also water collects on rounded corner when upside down. I still love it but would look better if built correctly. Can’t believe they haven’t fixed after all the reviews
