Not the best pairing for a small dog

Both the collar and leash are great products separately but I have a miniature dachshund and the leash with hardware seems better suited for a much larger dog. Thought

Both the collar and leash are great products separately but I have a miniature dachshund and the leash with hardware seems better suited for a much larger dog. Thought the leash would be in similar weight to the smaller collar. Instead it weighs about about much as him :)

Purchased this as a bundle with size small collar and the coordinating leash. Unfortunately, the clasp on the leash, while excellent quality is way too big to attach

I had the same problem as the other reviewer, initially thinking that the clip just wouldn't fit and was sized wrong, but it turns out the clip WILL fit on, it's

I had the same problem as the other reviewer, initially thinking that the clip just wouldn't fit and was sized wrong, but it turns out the clip WILL fit on, it's just a struggle and was an inappropriate choice for the manufacturer to use the same heavy-duty clip on the leash for smaller dogs. The whole clip and whatever you call the other metal piece near it are WAY too big dangle around like a boulder ready to knock your little breeds out if they don't watch out. Apparently no one tested the product before selling? I've had it for several months and it's a great quality collar and leash, just a super ridiculous choice of hardware. I'd love a new set if Chewy fixes this, my DIY fix isn't that great, but at least my dog isn't afraid of it any longer!
