Is the front clip a martingale type strap? Does it tighten when the dog pulls?

This harness does not contain a martingale collar. However, the harness contains a padded mesh chest piece with O-ring leash attachment helps deter dogs from pulling by redirecting their attention back to you without straining their neck.
What is the advantage to a front lead harness?

Front attachments can make it easier to train and control a dog, while simultaneously making it less likely that your dog will have issues catching their breath or feel discomfort on a walk.
Is there a risk for dogs backing out of this harness? if so, would that be solved by adjusting it a certain way?

When sized appropriately and straps are adjusted to the perfect fit, your dog should not be able to back out of the harness.
Is it easy for the dog to chew threw it

This harness is made with high-quality material for durability. However, it is not chew resistant. Please supervise your dog while harness is being worn.
