is this suitable for large cats (up to 18 lbs)?

This cat house is suitable for most cats. The hideout measures 16.5 x 16.5 inches with an 8 inch diameter opening.

How does the plant part keep from falling off? How does it attach?

The plant part is attached by inserting the tabs into the slots on the roof. The detailed instruction manual can be found under the "Instruction" tab.

Could I fit a litter box in this?

Nice, neutral cat house

Easy for human assembly and both cats enjoyed using this "house". I usually get a Christmas themed cat house for use from November-January, so I got this one so they could have a house out year round. One of my cats likes to chew cardboard, so within a couple of months he had ripped the opening nearly out to the edges. It is the same on the back as it is the front, so I flipped it around, sprayed the second hole with some bitter "no chew" spray, and it lasted several more months after that. It probably would have needed to be retired much sooner had I not used the spray, as both cats unfortunately used it a lot less after that. Guess I need to look into a sturdier solution if I want them to have a longer term cat house. :\

My mom bought my cat a cat house when I was home for the holidays and I had know idea how obsessed he would be with it! I had to get one for him for my apartment

My mom bought my cat a cat house when I was home for the holidays and I had know idea how obsessed he would be with it! I had to get one for him for my apartment. It’s only been one day and he LOVES it! Super easy to put together and seems very sturdy and durable.

Cute, sturdy, easy to assemble!

It’s lovely! Quick and easy to put together (follow the instructions, don’t be me!) solo though a second pair of hands is, well, handy. As are an extra set of paws

If you want a sturdy cat house that’s super cute this is the one for you. It’s easy to put together and once it’s put together (with no tape, just cardboard tabs)

My cats regularly play on and in this cat house and it doesn’t have a dent. I would buy it again, but this thing is built to last so I don’t know if I need to

Looks Decent and Cat is Using

When I unpacked it, I thought, "Oh great, that's flimsy." The cardboard is quite thin and thus 4 stars. But otherwise it came together okay and I like the look
