Frisco Removable Football Dog & Cat Adjustable Collar Attachment, One Size

This little football is a nice inexpensive surprise for a dog-loving football fan (or football-loving dog owner). In this neck of the woods, that can apply to several people these days, with our University team having a great year. My big friend, Otto (the Otterhound) can wear this attachment with no bother and without any danger. The Velcro that attaches the football is very strong and there's enough of it that there seems little chance it will fall off, even during the more rambunctious play, which Otto and his friends engage in every time they meet at the dog park. Because Otto is the kind of guy that tends to eat toys instead of playing with them, we don't want him to get a chance to grab something on his leash or collar. As these pictures indicate, Otto is not even aware that he's sporting a football. But the humans he encounters are, so it's a great little conversation piece, when two football fans meet while walking their dogs. The manufacturers indicate this for dogs or cats but I can't imagine any cats large enough that this would be comfortable for them. Because my cat doesn't wear a collar, I cannot test this on him, but I'm not likely to try even if he did wear a collar. I love this little attachment, which can be used during football season and removed off-season, thus making it last for several years, even with the most physically active dogs around.

This little collar trinket is adorable. It’s easy to put on and take off and stays fairly well. We have an active dog who runs and plays a lot and this never came off.

This is a cute add-on to a dog collar. It does feel cheap so not sure how long it would last, especially on a bigger dog that plays rough. For my 10 pound dog, it is perfect.
