Frisco Reversible Summer Watermelon Print Dog Leash, XS/S: 6-ft long, 5/8-in wide

My dog is a 55-pound golden retriever, 1 year, 8 months old. She often pulls on her walks. Dual Watermelon Printed Dog Leash by Frisco; 72 inches long/1 inch wide Look - The print on the leash is colorful on both sides, but not reversible – light blue background with watermelon slices on the exposed side (occasionally with sunglasses and stick figure style arms, legs and facial expressions); the underside has alternating dark and light stripes of varying widths of approximately ½ inch that run across the width of the leash. The clasp is 1.5 inches long with a ½ inch connector. Two of my (dog owning) neighbors commented on “the cute leash”. Feel – The fabric is silky feeling (with just a bit of texture), flexible rather than stiff handle, and light weight. The buckle in comparison feels a bit heavy in proportion to the weight of the leash. Function – The clasp opens and closes easily with a sliding mechanism. I found it easy to attach to the loop on the matching medium sized ¾ inch collar. For my 55-pound dog, I felt that the clasp was strong, but a bit heavier than necessary. The leash is strong enough to allow me to keep my dog under control on our walks, even when she pulls. On our recent walk on a cold, rainy day, the fabric retained its look, feel, and function. It got a little dirty when she scratched with muddy paws, but it cleaned right up with a little water.

Love the pattern! Super cute and bright. Easy to see at night when walking my dog. Very durable. Clasp is usually the downfall on smaller leashes but not this one. Clasp is large enough for my harnesses that have two loops to attach to.
