Holiday Toys That Are Tough Enough to Last!

These rubber holiday tree and balls are very sturdy! (The package name describes them as 'rubber,' but I would think they are made of something else.) I chose toys

These rubber holiday tree and balls are very sturdy! (The package name describes them as 'rubber,' but I would think they are made of something else.) I chose toys that are a bit too heavy for my 30-lb Sheltie, Bandit, as he has a small mouth. Despite that, he loves chasing the balls around and enjoyed knocking the little tree over whenever I set it up, but he won't pick up the tree in his mouth. These would be great for a bigger dog like a Lab or a Golden - not indestructible, but they would last a very long time. They are colorful and will make a great holiday present for your dog or another fur-friend. Each toy has a hole in each end, which might be for filling with dog treats, but the package doesn't say that so I am not sure if the hole is for treats or just part of the design so the dog can bite down on it. Bigger dogs will find these very entertaining.

Our dogs (25-50 lbs.) are huge fans of these, and they're perfect for Christmastime! The sizes are perfect for all three of our dogs. The tree is great for placing peanut butter or a biscuit inside. The red balls are great for fetch and perfect for putting kibble or small training treats inside but not great for peanut butter, because the holes are small. Our dogs have stayed entertained by them for over an hour multiple times. Highly recommend!

This is a ser of three durable toys -- two balls and a tree. The two balls are a little softer and easier for my dog to chew. The tree is very durable and rigid. She loved the two balls right away (almost like a cat enjoying a catnip toy), but I had to add treats to the tree for her to be interested. All three toys have a hole for you to add treats so they become a treat dispenser as play happens.

Not sure if this is supposed to be a treat type toy since they have holes in them. We ended up putting treats inside to entice the pups to play with them. Typically our corgi will play with a toy a lot, they all didn't seem interested in the actual balls and tree after the treats were gone. The tree is pretty big so it's great for larger dogs and the balls are a good size for any size dogs. They're just as pictured, nice to the touch and are durable though. Just not something our dogs specially wanted to play with I guess.

We love this set! Our 10 month old German Shepherd puppy is the biggest ball lover I’ve seen. We’ve been through every type of ball. And most have been destroyed

We love this set! Our 10 month old German Shepherd puppy is the biggest ball lover I’ve seen. We’ve been through every type of ball. And most have been destroyed. Our favorite (and hers) was discontinued. So when we got these and saw that they were very similar we were excited. After several weeks it’s safe to say these are tough. The feature we like most is that it is thick with a hollow center and holes on the ends. For whatever reason she doesn’t destroy this design. And they give her the ability to squeeze it. She will lay on her back and squeeze and release the ball for long periods of time. Other solid balls don’t do this as well. The tree is even bigger and thicker and still hollow. She prefers the balls but does definitely still use it when she has left the balls from the set outside in the leaves. This is definitely a winner!

These Christmas toys are a big hit with my Mousse! He is afraid of balls that are loud when they bounce, and these are not loud at all. He also likes that I can put treats in them which are a challenge for him to get out. The Christmas tree is very cute and he enjoyed chewing on it while trying to get treats out. I like that the balls are smaller than the tree so it gives a variety of a play experience.

My dogs aren’t super thrilled with any rubbery toys, they prefer destroying plush toys instead. However the balls have just the right size opening for kibble and treats to fall out when nosed around so I was able to get my dogs to play with it for a bit. They seemed to get more frustrated with the tree. I think they would be great for dogs that enjoy rubber toys or enjoy working for their food/treats.
