Why is their no reflective or bold colors and will the straps actually hold the weight listed to lift the dog out of the water? Has anyone tried lifting their dogs out of the water w the straps?

The X-Small life jacket strap can support dogs up to 15 pounds, the Small life jacket strap can support dogs up to 30 pounds, the Medium life jacket strap can support dogs up to 55 pounds, the Large life jacket strap can support dogs up to 85 pounds, and the X-Large life jacket strap can support dogs up to 100 pounds.

Our dogs are not real long but are plump. What is the difference in length between small and small sizes on this life jacket?

The length for each size is as follows. The extra small is 14.37 inches. The small is 18.70 inches. The medium is 24.02 inches. The large is 26.97 inches and the extra large is 32.28 inches.

Can my cat wear this? I know it specifically says for dog's only, but my dog hates the water but the cate loves it...

great for the price

My dog is a chunky chiweenie, about 18lbs, and I got him a small. It fits perfectly with the velcro and clips, I appreciate both there to keep it securely on him

My dog is a chunky chiweenie, about 18lbs, and I got him a small. It fits perfectly with the velcro and clips, I appreciate both there to keep it securely on him. The blue color is cute and looks good on him, and the fin is too but I like that it’s removable. The jacket kept him afloat for a short swim in the lake, and the flap on the neck did seem to help keep his head above water some. The handle on the back seemed sturdy enough for me to lift him out of the water, and help with lifting him on dry land (though I used my other hand to support him underneath when he wasn’t in water). The plastic clip for the leash is not ideal but I get this is a cheaper one. I chose this life jacket because it was more affordable and I’m glad it’s holding up well so far.

It’s great quality and the XL holds her 75pd pit-mix, body up out of the water the entire time. I’ve tested tons, this is your best option!

Perfect way to end Shark Week

I took my 10 month old golden retriever to the lake for the first time & I wanted him to have a life jacket. I saw this shark jacket & knew he had to have it immediately

I took my 10 month old golden retriever to the lake for the first time & I wanted him to have a life jacket. I saw this shark jacket & knew he had to have it immediately. He’s roughly 60-65 pounds, I got him a large (please note that I did not measure him due to laziness) because I was worried an xl would be too big but also slightly worried a large would be too small. The jacket fit beautifully, the tummy velcro is a bit snug but with the buckle that’s not a big deal. I’m sure he’s definitely not done growing but I should be able to use it again next year with the adjustable buckles. As you can see from the pictures, he had a great time!

Belly too long

While its a adorable, its not functional for my dog. It is the correct size in width, and top length for my dog, the under belly length is too long. I have a boy

While its a adorable, its not functional for my dog. It is the correct size in width, and top length for my dog, the under belly length is too long. I have a boy dog, and he is not able to go to the bathroom with the jacket on. So it will not work for him unfortunately. I wish there was a way of measuring that part of the jacket before purchasing.

Love the handles on the vest

I have doubts about the floatation support but I needed a way to pull my big boy onto my paddle board while out in the lake and these work Great!! I can get a hold

I have doubts about the floatation support but I needed a way to pull my big boy onto my paddle board while out in the lake and these work Great!! I can get a hold of the front or top handles to pull him aboard. The shark fin is hilarious- my friends all got a kick out of it. It seems to be well made stays in place. He gets excited when I get it out because he knows Hes Going Paddle Boarding!!

Bought the XS size for my 7.5pound dog and it fits amazing. Lots of adjustable points on the life jacket. The first time ever swimming in a pool was at a community Dog Day event & this jacket gave him the confidence to swim and have a fun day! It’s great that it didn’t bunch up on him and it even has a chin rest to keep his face level. The handle and leash hook are a good feature. Plus that shark tail is so darn cute!

I bought the XS thinking I could adjust it to its largest size to fit her instead and it was too small.
