Great Sized Dog Blanket
I purchased this blanket to replace the old ratty looking dog blankets I had. This blanket is the perfect size. It’s big enough to cover the arm and corner cushion of my sofa but not too big. The blanket also has the advantage of offering a smooth Cotton like fabric on one side and the warm fluffy fabric on the other side, making it very versatile for the different seasons and for my five dogs based on their individual preferences. I have not washed this blanket yet so cannot comment on that. However, based on our experience so far, the dogs and humans in my house give this blanket an enthusiastic paws/thumbs up!
Great Blankets!
I bought 2 of the Navy/Sherpa blankets several years ago. We rescued a lab mix who had been severely abused and was afraid of everything. She sleeps on her blanket when I spread it out on her Eyelash cushion and/or she lets us cover her up. (When I say she was abused, I mean it took us almost 4 months to touch her.) She's still not sure about life, but she loves us and even let visiting family rub and love her. We rescued a very small cat this year, and I want one or two for him. The ones that I bought last year have been washed many times and still look like I just bought them.

The first day we brought our rescued outdoor cat inside, he immediately loved this blanket! It’s adorable and the pattern is nice.
Comforting to my Fraidy Cat
I don't give the blanket a 5 star rating as of yet. I purchased it specifically for her comfort when she is staying in a "kitty hotel" while we're on vacation. She loves her pillow sherpa cushion that I bought years ago. It great on her arthritic hips while sleeping. Besides comparing the sherpa to a regular pet blanket it gives her the comfort she really needs. One can tell because immediately as she steps on the blanket she purrs and "makes biscuits" Being a Persian she frightens easily. By bring her new sherpa blanket with her to the kitty hotel this should give her some comfort that she could definitely use.
weird material
I liked the pattern but the material is a vinyl type and not pet-friendly or snuggly at all. The white sherpa is cuddly but it's just plain white. I was envisioning my cat snuggling on the pretty pattern, but the material is not very inviting. Overall disappointed and reviewing so others do not make the same mistake.

This smaller sized blanket is perfect to drape over top of the living room chair for my cat to lay in her favorite spot.
Both cats love it!
Purchased the small size to keep hair off our leather couch. Both our cats (including the "picky" one) love to sit with us on their own blanket. I recently ordered the larger size to cover an upholstered chair that they are occasionally tempted to scratch, so each of our cats will have their own sherpa blanket.

This blanket is great because it has a soft side and a weather resistant side. Our dog loves it.
