The non-sherpa side
Should’ve read the description more carefully. One side is definitely sherpa, but the reverse side is plasticky slippery vinyl. I’d prefer softness on both sides.
great for price
my senior dog like to sleep on hard surfaces, now that its fall her old bones I want to be warm this blanket was a great price and is warm but not too fluffy which I wanted, nice underside too.
Sherpa Dog Blanket
Very pleased with the Sherpa dog blanket! A good size for my little rat terrier that weighs only 7 lbs. She can curl up underneath it and be completely covered like she wants. Soft fleece material on one side which is my favorite. (Hers too!)
My dog's favorite blanket
My dog absolutely loves this blanket. One of my cats tries to steal it out of the dog's crate every chance he gets. It's well made, and very soft. Wonderful purchase.
Great Sized Dog Blanket
I purchased this blanket to replace the old ratty looking dog blankets I had. This blanket is the perfect size. It’s big enough to cover the arm and corner cushion of my sofa but not too big. The blanket also has the advantage of offering a smooth Cotton like fabric on one side and the warm fluffy fabric on the other side, making it very versatile for the different seasons and for my five dogs based on their individual preferences. I have not washed this blanket yet so cannot comment on that. However, based on our experience so far, the dogs and humans in my house give this blanket an enthusiastic paws/thumbs up!
Pet favorite but pretty fragile
Our four month old “chewer” loves the blanket but was able to start chewing holes within the first two hours. Will will look for something more durable soon.
Great Blankets!
I bought 2 of the Navy/Sherpa blankets several years ago. We rescued a lab mix who had been severely abused and was afraid of everything. She sleeps on her blanket when I spread it out on her Eyelash cushion and/or she lets us cover her up. (When I say she was abused, I mean it took us almost 4 months to touch her.) She's still not sure about life, but she loves us and even let visiting family rub and love her. We rescued a very small cat this year, and I want one or two for him. The ones that I bought last year have been washed many times and still look like I just bought them.

Comforting to my Fraidy Cat
I don't give the blanket a 5 star rating as of yet. I purchased it specifically for her comfort when she is staying in a "kitty hotel" while we're on vacation. She loves her pillow sherpa cushion that I bought years ago. It great on her arthritic hips while sleeping. Besides comparing the sherpa to a regular pet blanket it gives her the comfort she really needs. One can tell because immediately as she steps on the blanket she purrs and "makes biscuits" Being a Persian she frightens easily. By bring her new sherpa blanket with her to the kitty hotel this should give her some comfort that she could definitely use.
