It works as bedding for my snake. He's very happy that he can burrow in it and I'm very happy that it's not messy like coco fiber. I did find some one or two small blue plastic pieces in it, which was kind of weird. Overall, it is mixture of brown paper, tissue paper, and a cottonlike material.

Will buy again

It lasted longer than the other carefesh substrate that I usually use and my hedgehog really likes grabbing it for his nest. I do think it may be isn't as smelly

It lasted longer than the other carefesh substrate that I usually use and my hedgehog really likes grabbing it for his nest. I do think it may be isn't as smelly absorbent, but I pair it with fresh news odor absorbing pellet substrate and try for daily spot cleans.

Ernie enjoys

My hedgehog Ernie had no issues with using this bedding. I use it in her litter box as she is litter trained and she had no issues switching from care fresh to this

My hedgehog Ernie had no issues with using this bedding. I use it in her litter box as she is litter trained and she had no issues switching from care fresh to this. It was a bit stringier than care fresh, so it does seem to track more, but it is holding up all the same.

Good for the price.

I don't like this bedding as much as I do my usual (Carefresh), but for the price, it is still good quality, lasts as long, and I like the colors.
