Very sharp tines on comb

While the comb does collect the fur, the tines are very very sharp and the medium haired cat get uncomfortable even when using the come very carefully. The brush

While the comb does collect the fur, the tines are very very sharp and the medium haired cat get uncomfortable even when using the come very carefully. The brush on the other hand is comfortable and safe but does NOTHING for deshedding. Maybe that is by design.
