Engraving Fades Over Time
I have purchased these tags multiple times for my five (5) rescue dogs. I put 2 tags on each of my dogs so if one tag comes off and I don't notice it right away, the other tag will be there. By using 2 tags, I never have to worry that at least one tag will be on their collar at all times. The price for these tags is very good compared to others I have purchased. And they hold up well but I agree with the reviewer who said after 8 to 12 mos, the engraving fades and appears smudged so you can no longer make out all the phone numbers. If they lasted longer, I would give them a 5-star rating. As they are only legible for about 12 mos, I order a new tag for each dog once a year. For 5 dogs that's $50 but I have not found anything that lasts longer. So two suggestions for manufacturer: 1) Make engraving deeper so it lasts longer. You might need a thicker tag at a higher price, but if you have dogs that are outside a great deal, I would pay a higher price for engraving that lasts longer; and 2) Put the hole for the ring a little further down. I have 5 large dogs who run around on 5 acres. It's amazing to me but that metal wears down between the hole and the top of the tag quickly on an active dog and I have lost tags because it eventually breaks. If you moved the hole a little bit lower, it would take longer for normal wear and tear to finally break through.

The engraving for my street is spelled wrong, even though I double checked myself. What I entered is correct on my end.
Additional Tag
So far I am very impressed with the quality of this tag. It was the first time I bought the Frisco brand. I needed one for additional information about Scooter. I haven't had it very long but I think the lettering will hold up. I have already washed his collar several times, tags and all. I put it in a laundry bag in a light load and then let it air dry.
Durable ID Tag
We've had this tag for about two weeks and so far it has proven to be durable and just what we wanted!

Perfection
After one year this tag is still going strong with my (not so) pup! It goes through mud and baths and is still absolutely perfect.
Peace of Mind
The little ID badges are lightweight, clearly printed, and just plain cute. We have peace of mind if our two big dogs ever get out of the fenced in property. Printing is very clear and legible.
Text does not last
Tag was nice when it first came but less than a year later and the phone number is no longer legible, looks "smudged". Does not feel or look engraved. Very disappointing since my dog only wears his tag when he goes outside so it isn't getting much action for it to wear that quickly. Purchased the larger tag, would probably go with the smaller next time.. it seemed alittle bulky on my 55lb pupper.

Its a great size and the most unique style of tag I have ever seen. When I saw it, I had to have it and couldn’t be happier with my choice.
It's adorable
I love it. Not as much as who we got it for.. We're expecting a new puppy on the 14 of August and am in love! It's been 15 years since I've had a puppy. Me and my 15 year old collie will love him forever. Perfect tag for my perfect little love. <3 :')
