Good-sized shredding toy for parakeets and cockatiels made with natural materials. My parakeets were immediately attracted, especially to the straw-like sticks held together with red twine. They crunched those up first and starting working on pulling apart the balls--which can hold nutriberries or other small treats. It's held up well after 2 weeks and they're still playing with it. Good boredom buster and encourages foraging instincts.

The Frisco Straw-Tastic Bird toy is a really cute toy for a smaller pet bird. It has cute wicker balls, some material for chewing and shredding and a nice bell at the bottom. It was a littler smaller than I expected and my African Grey pretty much ignores it, but this toy would be great for a parakeet or budgie.

My GCC likes this toy!
My GCC started demolishing this toy within a day or two. All that's left at this point is 2 balls and the bell. Will need to order another one for her!

This Frisco straw-tactic toy is perfect for smaller birds like parakeets and cockatiels. It has an easy to use hanger that twists close. My cockatiel takes a little time adapting to anything new in his cage so he's has been avoiding the toy. He loves bells though so he'll give in sooner or later. I attached it to the outside of the cage first for a couple days then moved it in. I think many birds are like this about their space being "invaded" by something new. Overall the toy is well made and easy to attach to a bird cage.

I got this Frisco Straw-Tastic Bird Chew Toy for my new buddy, Frankie. He originally belonged to my friend but she moved out of town and couldn't take him with her. I've had him a few months now and he seemed kind of bored, so I put this in his cage. At first, I think he was afraid of it but now he plays with it ALL the time. He's a 5 yr old cockatiel. It's already looking a little beat up so I'm gonna get him a new one to have for when this one falls apart- I don't wanna risk him swallowing any of it. It's a cute toy and keeps him entertained- He has a lot of fun with it & seems happy which makes me happy!
