Secure cage for my conure

This cage is NOT white. Chewy was amazing and tried to send me another one, which was also not white. It’s okay but want you to know. Functionality, it gets 3 but

Functionality, it gets 3 but the false advertising brings it to a 2. The bottom tray is really hard to remove. The door is difficult to latch so with a bird you are training to travel in it- not ideal. I also feel like the handle on the top is tiny and a bit awkward to use. If you are on a budget and need a travel cage, I think this is fine. But if you can spend a bit more , I would go with a different brand.

I bought this travel cage for my lovebird. It's spacious and attractive. There are less expensive versions of this cage, but unlike the others, this one has a side door and metal bottom tray. The stainless steel food/water cups are a good size, and there is a perch suitable for a small parrot, like mine. However, I will be using rope perches and a few other types that I already have. The only thing I didn't like about the cage, and mentioned by others, is that the feeding dishes are packed under the grate and this causes a big problem trying to remove them. I had to use two thin leather laces between the bars, to pull and lift the grate away from the bottom and unlatch the lock that holds the bottom pan in place. I don't know who packs these things, but this was ridiculous, thus the 4 stars.

This is a wonderful and roomy cage. I bought this for a Lutino Dusky Conure (a little larger than a Green Cheek) that I am waiting to arrive once weaned. While the cage was very easy to set up (just a bird sized fold down wire dog crate), the only thing I did not like was how tiny the metal bowls are that come with the cage, which is why I rated a 4 instead of 5.

Not For Small Birds
The spacing of the bars is just wide enough for a small bird to stick their head through leading to a possible neck injury. It would be better for a larger bird,
