This style is designed with a chin strap with an adjustable hook and loop closure to allow a secure fit for a variety of pet head and neck shapes, as well as hair lengths.

How can I train my pet to keep this on their head?

Pets need time to get adjusted to anything covering their head. The duration of wear depends on your pet's tolerance for headwear. We have designed our hats with optional earholes to allow sound and comfort. We recommend introducing the product to your pet by letting them smell it before putting on their head the first time. Typically it is easiest to first secure the hat on your pet's head, then adjust their ears through the earholes. Give them lots of treats as soon as you put it on then take it off before they can shake it off. Wait some time and do the same thing again with lots of treats -- eventually they will get adjusted to the experience and associate it with getting rewarded.
