I was excited to receive the Frisco Velvet Removable Bunny Tie Breakaway Cat Collar for my little indoor kitty. She is 3 years old and has never had a collar, or worn any bows, clothing, etc. This collar was the perfect introduction for her, as it is so soft and light weight. The pastel aqua color is beautiful, and the velvet is a good quality. The “bunny tie” is attached with a little Velcro loop, and is easily removable, though I find the loop a bit bulky. The breakaway feature is very secure, and i wondered how “breakaway” it actually is, because I had to pull pretty hard to get it to release. Perhaps over time it will loosen up. I am pleased to report that my cat isn’t bothered at all by the collar, although I only put it on her from time to time when company is coming over! An extra bonus is a tiny little gold bell with a very soft ring, so she isn’t bothered by it. The collar adjusts very easily, and is embellished with gold fittings.

The pastel turquoise color is really pretty, and the material feels soft, which is great for my cat’s comfort. The bow is adorable and adds a fun touch, plus it’s removable if you want a simpler look. I also appreciate the breakaway clasp for safety. Just keep in mind this isn’t meant to be used with a leash—it’s more of a decorative collar for indoor cats. Overall, it’s a nice little accessory that makes my cat look extra stylish around the house!

This collar has some nice features such as: it is very soft, has a breakaway collar, has a bell and a removeable bow. It is for cats, but could also be used on a small dog. Personally I find this type of collar challenging to adjust to the correct size, but that might be just me. The bow causes a bulkiness on the inside of the collar where it velcros onto the collar.

My Tabico kitty was not a fan of the bow but it was easily removed by undoing the Velcro fastener. The gold toned bell and tag loop ads to the glam of the collar. My only concern is that it does have weight to it, so if you have a smaller cat or a skinny cat, long term wear of this collar this may cause irritation to their neck muscles having to carry the weight of the hardware.
