This vest is constructed with mesh material which allows the fabric to hold water and cool your pet as it evaporates.

You will need to submerge in water prior to putting it on your pet and as the water evaporates on the body it will create a cooling effect.

Although it is not a life vest, it is okay to go in the water with it if you are supervising your pup. Wetting it will reactivate the cooling technology once your pup is out of the water.

This provides up to 45 level of protection.
