I recently got kittens. They're still too small to efficiently use it. Once they grow some, it'll be fine. But for now, I need to put a large book in front of it

I recently got kittens. They're still too small to efficiently use it. Once they grow some, it'll be fine. But for now, I need to put a large book in front of it for them to use it. And they like catching the water off the spout. So they need stepping stones to keep their feet dry. Its adorable actually.

Broke after a few months use

Our cat loved this water fountain and we were very pleased with it. We regularly changed water and filters. But then it broke after a few months. Cleaning with vinegar/water

I've only had this fountain for about 4 or 5 months maybe. It gets extremely moldy even when you clean it every 2 weeks and change the filter as directed. The top

I've only had this fountain for about 4 or 5 months maybe. It gets extremely moldy even when you clean it every 2 weeks and change the filter as directed. The top attracts dust like crazy too. My senior cat loves this though! It's helped keep her hydrated, which is important in seniors, especially seniors who already have kidney failure. However, I came home today and the motor had failed. I still have 2 more filters I now have to toss as well. Disappointed.

Great size and easy for a small cat to access

The motor went out on an old fountain, and I was concerned my cat wouldn't like this new one. No problem! It didn't intimidate her at all!

Clean clean clean

Yes a waterer like this helps your cats drink more. The downside is the scum build up. If you ever used just a bowl you understand how slimmy it can get. These waters

Yes a waterer like this helps your cats drink more. The downside is the scum build up. If you ever used just a bowl you understand how slimmy it can get. These waters have many cracks and small areas that are hard to get to like inside the pumps. I clean mine every 2 days. I use a syringe to power wash the areas that I can't see. If you have not done this you will be amazed at the slime build up. If you are lazy with your cleaning your cat will start getting sick soon. Alot more work than just useing a bowl. You have been warned! If you love your pets and are willing to take the time to do the deep cleaning that is needed. It works great. If you are lazy and just wanted something that doesnt take work, dont get these.

It was a nice little fountain while it worked, but it only lasted about 6 months before the pump completely gave out and stopped working. And this was with regular

And this was with regular water changes and replacing the filters as needed. I was hoping I'd get at least a year out of it for the price, but you get what you pay for I guess.

The fountain is very quiet and it only took about a minute for my kitten to drink from it. It’s a very simple set up. And the 6 foot cord was long enough to reach

The fountain is very quiet and it only took about a minute for my kitten to drink from it. It’s a very simple set up. And the 6 foot cord was long enough to reach to the outlet from the location where I wanted to place the fountain. However, my kitten was just as happy to play with the running water, as to drink from it. And, we all know where those paws have been, think walking through stuff in the litter box. My cat likes to play in water. What was I thinking? I’m passing it along to a friend.
