Frisco Winter Sports Bird Teaser Wand Plush Cat Toy with Silvervine & Catnip

I realize this toy is intended to be interactive, but I quickly learned I cannot entice our 2 furry kids with this toy to the degree that they can do it on their own. I've attempted to make the bird dance by flinging it back and forth and up and down, and they were somewhat engaged; however, when the toy is left on the floor, the party begins, as can be seen in the attached videos (p.s. I didn't realize when writing this that videos are not uploadable, so I've attempted to capture the craziness via stills from the videos, yet they don't capture the extent of fun these 2 are having). Our furry kids are so much better at entertaining themselves with the wand than I am at entertaining them with it. It has been approximately 3 weeks, and their interest has not waned. The funniest thing has not yet been caught on video, and that is when they grab the bird in their mouths and run around the house with it, down the hall, back up the hall, dragging the wand and string as they run, as if they have hunted the bird themselves and are running off with their catch. They are indoor-only cats, so this is the only hunting they do. Another cute thing is that I have woken up multiple times with this toy draped across me as if to say, "Wake up and play!" Sometimes I find it laying at my feet when I wake up as though they have brought me a gift. The flame point furry child (Sunshine) loves to hold the bird and bathe it after each wild, frenetic play session. I guess he is cleaning his prey. The white and gray fur baby (Moonshine) is super good at throwing it in the air and catching it. I'm as entertained as they are! Needless to say, we all love it, and it's a hit!

cute wand toy bird but one slight problem the rope is a little to long on this wand ive had to untangle my cats countless times while playing with them with this wand they always seem to get tangled up in the rope the birds on would advise future wands to have a rope thats a little less long and thin .

As soon as I received it, I started playing with the cats. They love this toy, although my tabby likes it more than my tortoiseshell. They couldn’t get enough of it and it’s great to have around the house to play with them.
