We bought this to grow out our new chicks and transition them in the run with the older girls. It's a great size for 4-6 chicks (huge for four 3-week olds, but will still be roomy when we tansition them in a month). I can see this being useful to seperate a sick or broody hen down the line, with a covered area and run area that would be comfortable for a grown chicken. It was very easy to put together and pretty solid for the price. It is small to use a permanent run, maybe for 2 grown chickens MAX. It would also need more predator-proofing in my area. But, for the price and quality, this is a great buy for our needs.
Easy assembly

Have two runs - one for quail & one for 9 six-week old chicks. Overall this is decently made. Lots of doors and covering is made to run any water/rain off back. The chicks have plenty of room, but has a wyandotte & orpington go in while building & not way this fits 4 adult chickens! TWO MAX unless bantams, then maybe 4. Once out putting both together to make large quail run.

This is definitley not a chicken run. It can accommodate one chicken, maybe two for a short period, and you'd have to move it frequently. It's ridiculous that these thiny things get advertised as being for multiple chickens. I purchased it to use inside of my coop for my broody hen to hatch out chicks in. The paint job isn't great, there's exposed parts that didn't quite get covered, and it doesn't sit entirely level, but for this purpose it's perfect. It has the enclosed end for the nest and enough space for momma to get up and stretch and eat and drink and use the bathroom and enough room when chickies arrive for them to do their thing until momma decides to take them out. Just make sure if you use it for this purpose that it is on the coop FLOOR. At first I made the mistake of setting it on the bedding and the other ladies dug out underneath it and managed to get her food dish pulled out.
Chicken run
Super easy to assemble and adequate for 3 chickens. It will be easy to move around my yard and have chickens protected. And it’s fox terrier approved.

This chicken run is incredible for the price. There are 3 side doors plus a top that opens. I am using this as a temporary cage for one of my chickens. I set the cage on a tarp (there is no bottom to the cage) and filled it with shavings. You might be able to use this cage outside, but I would be leery of predators at night knocking it over and/or chewing through the wood. The cage is very well made and is way better than a dog crate for roughly the same price. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend it to anyone needing temporary housing for an adult chicken or a grow pen for younger chickens.

This is the second one I’ve purchased. It took about 20 minutes to assemble. I have one duck with Bumblefoot that I bought the run for to keep her isolated so that I could give her her medication and keep the boys away from her. She loves it when she wants to go in the pond I let her out and she goes right back in it when she’s done splashing around. We have another older female duck that follows me around and also doesn’t like it when the boys chase her, so I bought the second run for her. I Realized if I took off the wood doors on the backside and removed the hardware, I could put the two runs together, so the ducks could be with each other. The box comes with brackets in case you buy the coop so that you can attach them. I didn’t buy the coop, but since the brackets were provided, I used those to secure the two runs together so they would not separate. Since there is a hatch on the top that works out perfectly. We have bears that come through here even with our deterrence. We had a bear flip over the first run and it didn’t break. Once the bumble foot duck is better I will put the ducklings in there until They get a little older and have their waterproof feathers. I recommend getting hardware cloth with the small squares to put on the bottom to prevent ground squirrels, snakes, etc. from coming up underneath and getting in. I recommend the chicken runs. I like them and may end up buying another one for the chickens baby chicks.

I needed a house for my pet duck and needed it quick. It is exactly how it's shown, and just the size I needed. There's no way I could have gotten someone to make one for the price I got this for either. Like all the doors and accesses to get inside, which a pen like this needs. Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase, and my duck really likes it too. Easy assembly
