Unlike some algaecides on the market, Fritz Algae Clean Out contains no copper and is a selective algae control product that will not harm fish and live plants when used as directed. Fritz Algae Clean Out is effective in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums, fountains and small ponds.

This water treatment is formulated to target string algae, blanketweed, and green water caused by single-celled algae.

Fritz Algae Clean Out is formulated specifically to treat existing algae problems, Fritz does not recommend using it as a preventative. Fritz recommends using FritzZyme 360 or FritzZyme 460 to get phosphates and nitrates, which lead to future algae breakouts, under control.

This water treatment can be used in a pond. For the dosage Use 6 drops per 10 U.S. gallons (37.85 L). Use 18 drops (½ tsp) per 30 U.S. gallons (114L). Use 5 ml (1 tsp) per 60 U.S. gallons (227.1 L).

It. Works.

Wow. Whatta product. Discovered a small algae area in our 14G globe aquarium and decided to try out Fritz algae treatment. Followed directions placing the drops in as we were turning in for the evening and in the morning, turned on the light and holy mackerel, no pun intended, the aquarium was extra extra CRYSTAL clear. Not only is the algae spot gone but it seemed to clarify it as well. Wonderful solution for algae, highly recommended and going to try their other aquatic products. Thanks Fritz!!!

Works For Planted Betta Tank

I bought this because I have been fighting algae in my planted 10 gallon tank that houses a single Betta fish. It only took two doses to kill all the algae, and it didn't harm my fish or any of the plants.

Good Stuff

I started using this brand as a recommendation for KG Tropicals on Youtube and I must say I am highly pleased with this product. It works well, has easy dosage and lasts a lot longer than it's expensive cohorts.
