These treats have a 7% minimum crude protein content and a crude fat content of 2% on an as-fed basis. These treats are made without gluten, wheat, corn, soy or artificial colors or flavors.

How long are these treats? How long are the medium sized ones as well?

The Small dental chews are approximately 3 inches long and the Medium dental chews are approximately 4 inches long.

Does anyone know if they are approved by VOHC?

This treat is not VOHC accepted.

Are these safe for a 3.5 and a 4.5 yorkie or do they have to be over 5 lbs. I am having a hard time finding dental treats for such small dogs.

Every evening, after dinner, my dogs beg for their treat bone. We’ve tried various types. I have two dogs. My slightly larger small dog gets 1/2 of a Trader Joe’s green bone, and my smaller dog gets one of these Fruitables dental treats. Both dogs love them, but the bigger beast chomps the smaller bone way too fast. My 16# dog chews a little on these smaller bones. The ingredients are great. Smell is fine. They used to make a slightly smaller size which was perfect for my little one. Now we just give her this bit bigger one. Only down side is cost! Expensive treats, but quality is excellent. Others we tried seemed less inviting, or smelled bad, or had less positive ingredients.

Dogs actually chew them instead of inhaling them.

My dogs love these! I find my dogs spend more time chewing on them than the other popular brands. Highly suggest getting these!

Barely works

My dog did not want to eat these treats so I had to trick him by filling the cavity in one side with some treats he actually likes. After he finally ate this treat,

My dog did not want to eat these treats so I had to trick him by filling the cavity in one side with some treats he actually likes. After he finally ate this treat, his breath was acceptable for maybe 5 minutes before going back to smelling like hot garbage.
