The feeder appears sturdy, easy to clean, and holds a lot of food. The 2 metal dishes are easy to remove and clean. The unit can be operated with batteries only
The feeder appears sturdy, easy to clean, and holds a lot of food. The 2 metal dishes are easy to remove and clean. The unit can be operated with batteries only if needed. The app was easy to download, however, it required a weekly or annual subscription fee, which I am unwilling to pay. It also made you download an easy screen app which messed up my cellphone display, was not helpful, so I had to uninstall both apps. Sadly, I could not test out his unit without the apps. I will donate it up a pet rescue.

The bowls are dishwasher safe. Definitely for cats and MAYBE a small dog that's the size of a cat. I wouldn't recommend anything bigger because I don't think the bowl would be filled appropriately or be able to take big kibble. Holds almost a full small bag of food. You can't set up anything on the feeder without the app which is a little annoying. But you can feed extra portions with a button on the side of the feeder

This device is for smaller/medium dogs or cats, and since I'm reviewing for my two big dogs, my review is biased. I started to download the app to this, but it required me to register and was asking permission for my location, local network, bluetooth, and home data, so I ended up deleting it. The machine does have a button on the side for manual use. From what I understand, you double press it, but it only dispenses 1 portion (1/16 of a cup) at a time. There are two bowls, so for both my dogs since I feed 1 cup twice a day, I would need to press the button 32 times for one meal,then do the same thing later in the evening. Even if I did download the app and needed to feed them remotely, 1) I would not be sure I pressed it the right amount of times, and 2) I shouldn't do this remotely because my dogs have to go to the bathroom right after feeding anyway. Now for cats, this might be a possibility for some pet owners, but you would also need an automatic litter box if you were to leave the house for some time. My cats get upset if they don't see a full bowl of food at all times and graze when they feel like it, but for the cat that eats dry food on a regular basis, I could see this working out well. If they like to eat at regular time and you won't be home, you could remotely set the food to dispense.

This Fukumaru feeder is really cool! My little dogs get so excited when they hear the food being dispensed. Setting it up does take some time but it’s easy enough

The app is simple to connect to. The feeder itself is sleek and has two bowls which is perfect for anyone with 1-2 pets. The only reason for 4 stars is the app and feeder don’t always seem to communicate with each other like they should. When I select manual feed and press the button, sometimes the feeder does not actually dispense food however, the app says “feeding successful.” Since I use this feeder when I am home due to needing to monitor my dogs when they eat, it’s not a huge deal. Overall we like the product and I’m sure if issues persist with the connection I can contact their customer support.
If you get woken up by your cats for food, buy it!

I also have it programmed to feed my cats at certain times of day. There is also a button on the side you can push to get a single serving. I was worried the noise of it churning the food would be scary, but the sound of the kibble on the metal bowls makes them come running! I also like that they are metal removable bowls to decrease bacteria and chin acne for my cats. It also holds a decent amount of kibble.

It is compact in size, doesn’t take up much space. With that being said, I think this would be good for small breed dogs and cats. There are two dishes so it would be ideal for multi pet families. It does have the ability to hook up to your smart phone so you can regulate feedings when you are not home.

It was very simple to get into an reconfigure when another cat cat had absconded and less food was needed. She back and thenmachine has been reconfigured again. No issues. It comes with a power source that I havent tested yet but its on the same cheap batteries for a month now. The power source seems to be charging my child tablet well. Super great product.

I've been using and enjoying this feeder since the day I received it. Although it was a little challenging to set up the right amount of food to be provided by the feeder, a few practice runs were all that were needed to get the perfect amount of food delivered to my pet. Using the phone App made it very easy to set up specific times for feedings and you can also manually add an extra feeding, if you want. This is a great feeder for anyone who has to be away from their homes during feeding times. The phone App readily maintains a history of the feedings so you can be sure that your pet has been fed. Although I use it for my one dog, it's also great for two pets, because it has two separate bowls that fill simultaneously. Within a few days, my pup figured out his feeding schedule and now sits in front of the feeder waiting for it to dispense his food. Unlike his owner, this feeder is always right on time!
