It is well made, sturdy and love the scratch pads on both sides. It is a premium item and would look great in anyone's home. I was so excited to get this for my domestic short haired cats who are ages 6 and 8. I had it on the wall first, but my cats were not interested even though I put them on it. I then set it on the floor. I put catnip on the scratchers and all the one did was sniff around. The other cat completely ignored it. They use another scratch pad I have, so I don't understand why they will not use this one. I would rate it a 5 for the quality of this product, but only gave it 3 since my cats ignored it totally.
