My cats love their cat tree scratching post. It is made of good quality materials, the directions are clear and my cats are using it. Assembly I scanned the QR code and was directed to a well made video to expedite assembly. All parts are very clearly marked. I think the hex screws should have a small countersink hole in the main post, but it is still easy to assemble and sturdy to put together. The Scratcher It is a strong bamboo with a smooth finish and not peeling. The wood is quite thick and could pass for a pine wood. The scratching area is a corrugated brown cardboard which is non toxic and should last a long time, since the layers are quite compressed and glued together.There is 24 inches of stratching area and the end caps make it 29” tall. It is 7-9 inches wide. Packaging There was no odd odor or excess packaging and it arrived appropriately packaged in a sturdy box. Everything was there. Use It is easy to mount, but my cat was unsure if this was her “toy,” so i rubbed a very small amount of catnip on it and she understood it is hers. It is compact, sturdy and nothing to trip over! Last thought For a well made item, it is a good value and will help entertain your cats giving them a non- destructive, non-toxic place to do their natural things. This will decrease my cat’s anxiety. Definitely, I can recommend this cat scratcher.
