FurHaven Ascentials Wooden Cat Chalet with Hammock, Navy

I was impressed with how easy this little chalet was to assemble. There are a number of parts, but the instruction pamphlet has detailed pictures and diagrams. The only tool needed is a hex key (included in the package) to tighten the screws and make the product nice and sturdy. There was also a QR link for an assembly video. I was able to put the house together without the video, but it would be good to provide a URL for those who aren't able to scan QR codes. All the parts are well-made, with the main structure being a combination of wood and corrugated cardboard, designed for robust scratching. It has a comfy cushion and hammock, which are easy to take out if they need to be washed. I have cats of different sizes, and there’s plenty of room on top and inside for them to lounge and relax. They particularly love the built-in toy slot, and are giving the catnip ball a real workout. They like the multiple entrances at the front and side. It’s like having little windows to spy on each other and human activity while feeling safe in their little shelter. The chalet is durable but also lightweight, so it’s simple to move to different rooms. This is my first product from FurHaven, but I’d definitely consider others based on the design and attention to little details that make my cats happy.
