Can you purchase just a replacement cover ?

Is the memory foam washable?

For FurHaven beds, the covers are machine washable, while the foam is not. For cleaning the foam, we recommend spot cleaning the foam, and letting it dry completely before putting it back in the cover.

Does this bed contain any lead, arsenic, bromine, phthalates, or any other toxins? Has it been tested for harmful chemicals?

For optimum pet health, FurHaven uses low VOC, CertiPUR-US® certified foam. This domestic foam is made without PDBEs, TDCPP or TCEP (“Tris”) flame retardants, mercury, lead, and other heavy metals. Our foam is manufactured without formaldehyde, ozone depleters, and phthalates regulated by the CPSC.

This pet bed is designed, assembled, warehoused and shipped in the USA using USA-sourced filling materials. The bed cover is made in China. All fiber fill is 100% recycled.

Very comfortable!

I foster dogs and usually have 4-5 beds spread throughout the house. I have had 3 versions of this bed: the jumbo, the large, and the large with bolsters. I originally

I foster dogs and usually have 4-5 beds spread throughout the house. I have had 3 versions of this bed: the jumbo, the large, and the large with bolsters. I originally purchased the large with bolsters, but when it arrived I quickly realized the bolsters take up a lot of space so the flat surface area was going to be too small for dogs 50 pounds or more. I reached out to Chewy to ask if I could exchange it for a jumbo size, and they very quickly took care of everything and asked me to donate the first bed, which is still being used by a small-dog foster at my shelter today (2 years later!). I sized up to the jumbo bed and also bought a large flat/no bolsters to keep in the crate. The large is a little short for my 42" crate but the dogs don't mind. The jumbo does take up a lot of floor space but the cushion is very thick and has held up amazingly for just over 2 years now without flattening down. I often lay down with the dog while we are watching a movie and it is so comfortable that I have dozed off on it many times and woke up with no aches or pains. Both beds have become our favorites and see daily/nightly use and have held up the best so far. The covers are washed weekly and still look as good as the day I bought them.

This is nice for my 13 pound Maltese to nap in the livingroom area. I was really looking for a mattress that would fit into a playpen, where I put her to sleep in at night. This mattress is lightweight, nice color and seems comfortable, but I think she still likes napping on the floor.

Not correct dimensions

I’ve bought multiple FurHaven beds over the last 12yrs. All the jumbo size. This one is NOT 40x32!! I have a Great Dane and size DOES matter. I don’t know if

I’ve bought multiple FurHaven beds over the last 12yrs. All the jumbo size. This one is NOT 40x32!! I have a Great Dane and size DOES matter. I don’t know if FurHaven mislabeled it or purposefully put the wrong dimensions. The attached tag (like the product description) says 40x32. It’s not. I’m going to call and tell Chewy. It’s not their fault. If “close enough” is good enough for you, it’s a really nice thick bed for the price. Before this I’ve always bought FurHaven. First time I’ve been disappointed.

New bed not the same fill

I ordered the same pet bed in July. I wanted another one for a different area of the house so I looked up my old order and reordered the same bed. The first is as

I ordered the same pet bed in July. I wanted another one for a different area of the house so I looked up my old order and reordered the same bed. The first is as advertised - memory foam. The one I received today is definitely not memory foam. I’m not sure if this was just a packaging error at the factory but this is not what was ordered. I’m returning and will reorder and hope I get the correct item.
