Perfect fit for my 80lb lab in my 4Runner! Purchased the Paw Inspired 41x41 washable pee pad to go between the cover and the memory foam and it fit great, and it has the rubber backing to keep it from moving around. The recommended waterproof cover didn't get great reviews. We wanted to keep the memory foam from getting smelly since we take our dog swimming alot. So far so good!
We bought this bed for our puppy for training around the house, and I really love the bed it's soft but has just enough firmness to not sag. My ten pound pup doesn't make a dent in it! Well, after three weeks we thought we would hand wash the cover to keep it smelling fresh, but it wouldn't unzip. We tried for thirty minutes to get the zipper to budge and it wouldn't budge a centimeter. With one last pull instead of the zipper giving way, the entire corner shredded off and then the zipper fell right off! We're still not sure what happened or why the zipper did that, but when I contacted Chewy they immediately sent a new one to us. Their customer support is out of this world! They asked us to donate the bed to a shelter, and of course we did, but even with them asking that just shows how above and beyond Chewy goes. Will never shop anywhere else! But if you get this bed please be careful with the zipper.
I purchased this exact pillow 4 years ago, just figured it was time for a new pillow for my 90lb pup. The jumbo size is not as big, and the foam is not as supportive. Disappointed. Picture compares the two, the older one is underneath.
I bought the same product of a different color 4 years ago and my dog has always loved it. So I didn't think twice when I purchased it again. Disappointingly, not only has the size of a jumbo bed shrunk so much, it is also not as supportive. As in the picture, my dog would prefer to sleep in her old bed (cream) than the new one (grey).
We have a four YO Irish Wolfhound. He is just beginning to have some hip soreness and after hunting for the largest ortho mattress we could find, settled on this one. Fits our 180 lb fellow and since arriving he sleeps all night long on it. No stirring and pacing like before. And during nap, if Finn does get up, sister Maggie, a St Bernard, is quick to jump on it. See a second purchase coming soon.
Our Border Collie likes to play with her rawhide chews on her beds and I can't seem to find one made with a rugged enough material to withstand her clawing. I re-covered her previous bed at least 4 times, since the foam was fine and the covers were available, but this time she even destroyed some of the foam. This bed would be fine for most dogs and is attractive enough for the living room of our house, but I need one made of denim or something similar.
I was initially disappointed because of how light it was, I thought the quality was gonna be bad but I'm glad I was wrong. It has great cushioning which my senior dog really loves.
This is worth the money! I love that the cover is removable for washing. The foam bed is very comfortable and the kids lay on it with our pup ALL THE TIME. When we first got it, they tried to take over it for playing and watching movies, and I had to break it to them that it was not for them, but for the pup. It isn’t super easy to get the cover back on after washing, but it’s not a big deal.
My Siberian husky loves this bed.. out of all the beds he has had this is his favorite. The only problem is the sizes of the bed. My boy is a medium sized dog and can only use the largest size they have because the medium and large are undersized and the biggest takes up a lot of space. Being my boy is only a medium size dog he should not need jumbo jumbo plus..
I was replacing a bed in the outdoor dog house that quickly deteriorated in our desert sun. This one has been in use for over a month now and is wearing well. Manny likes to hang out in the dog house, so that's a plus. The bed is well constructed and unfolded quickly and is a good "Goldilocks" mixture of not too soft and not too hard. Just right.
