How wonderful that we can use the FurMe to regularly groom our dogs at home without the exorbitant costs of professional grooming! The upside of this product is that it’s easy to use and convenient, but the downside is that some of the cheap parts, including the grooming blade, began chipping after just one use.

I have had the 1L version for over two years now, since we adopted our 3rd labradoodle. The two older ones are full size and go to the groomers, but the 3rd is a miniature labradoodle and she just HATED going and suffers from separation anxiety. It took some time for her and I to get use to the process, but it worked out for us. The issue with the 1L was, even though she is a mini, I would have to empty the canister at least once and when I went to do so, she would think we were done. I ordered the 4L when we got our 4th labradoodle, a medium size (I know, glutton for punishment), but now I groom all four dogs and only have to empty the canister between each dog! I cannot recommend this enough. No more brushing and random hairs flying around, no more loading them up and taking them to the groomers (which skipping one visit covered the cost). PERFECT ADDITION TO OUR PET HOME!

This maybe one of the best purchases I have ever made pet related or not. I have a 100lb Giant Schnauzer with the typical thick coarse hair. His coat was fully grown out my first attempt with the Furme. I honestly didn’t have high expectations but was hopeful to find something that could save me from the $200 grooming appointments every 8 weeks. Even at its longest this handled my dogs thick coat with relative ease. I was extremely pleased. I just completed a touch up 4 weeks after the initial cut and it was easier than I could have imagined. What took about 2 hours the first time with the furme took about 25 mins if that for a maintenance trim. Truly handled his thick coat like a hot knife through butter with 99% of the hair ending up in the vacuum bin. If you’re looking for a very precise cut though you will need to supplement this with a normal trimmer and scissors but this thing will be the work horse to make the initial cuts you need with ease. Can’t rate this thing highly enough.

Amazing Fur Reducer

I own two very skiddish German Shedders (shepherds) and both fear a vacuum. I personally hate brushing them because then I have to clean up ALL the fur and dandruff

I own two very skiddish German Shedders (shepherds) and both fear a vacuum. I personally hate brushing them because then I have to clean up ALL the fur and dandruff I just brushed off of them. My other GSDs were ok with being vacuumed, but not these two. I tried this dog vacuum as a last resort because otherwise I have to vacuum my entire 1700 square foot house every single day to remove the GSD glitter from my floors and furniture. Both by dogs have adjusted to the various speeds on this vacuum and they love the suction from the tools on their skin. I love that all the fur and dandruff goes straight into the vacuum and not all over my house or yard. I do NOT need all the tools this machine comes with, I just use the two brush attachments. Worth every penny I spent on the vacuum. I brush each of them about 10 minutes per day to remove any loose hair, and now only vacuum my house every few days. Such a time saver!

The suction is great, the noise level is low, and the undercoat brush tool works better than a cheaper version I have. However, the regular brush version works about

The suction is great, the noise level is low, and the undercoat brush tool works better than a cheaper version I have. However, the regular brush version works about the same as the one I already have, and this set does not have an extra attachment for the shaver to get between the toes of my dogs. Overall it's an upgrade, but it doesn't come with the extra attachment to help complete the grooming experience.
