Thought I'd let people know that if you are having trouble using the dropper, that you can use an oral syringe instead. That's what I had to do. You can get them
Thought I'd let people know that if you are having trouble using the dropper, that you can use an oral syringe instead. That's what I had to do. You can get them from your vet or any pharmacy. I was having trouble getting all of the medicine in my cats mouth, most of it kept getting stuck in the squeeze part so she wasn't getting the whole dose. Syringes are easier, cleaner and more accurate.
Cap/safety dropper could be improved
It's generic Lasix. My little Schnoodle has congestive heart failure and this helps to not retain so much fluid. BUT - the plastic eye dropper that comes with it

BUT - the plastic eye dropper that comes with it is too big and isn't the kind that you use to replace the cap it comes with. It *should* be the kind that is part of the cap. This one leaks, too. I wish Chewy would offer the furosemide made by Priority Care (this one is made by Hikma), which comes with a safety dropper cap that screws on and doesn't leak, mod the calibration on the dropper don't wear off. Chewy customer service is great, and the delivery option is helpful!
