I am giving this food because I generally trust Purina and my senior boy is starting to show some early kidney function issues upon veterinary testing. It smells kind of like roast beef. The inside contents of every can is not uniform, it varies in consistency and color and sometimes smell. My biggest concern is that it’s not super soft and blended well. There are hard sections I have to work to break up with a fork, almost like a chunk of gristle. Not sure why a cat requiring prescription food for kidney (which is often associated with age) who we are buying pâté for (my cat is missing half his teeth) would be able to easily manage coin-sized chunks.
These are new to us. We tried them because they were on sale and made in the USA. My dog loves the chicken and apple, but this bag of sticks was completely dried out. They are hard as a rock.
I guess there’s different tastes for every pup! Unfortunately, my dogs are picky and they didn’t like these. I do like the fact that they are grain free and good for your pups belly
My dogs wouldn’t eat certain treats which I bought at well known pet stores, But when a friend gave me some of these for my dogs to try, they loved them. I’m now buying different types to see if there are some they like the best, but so far they’ve loved all of them. Hope to see a salmon variety soon.
My dog will not eat them . he sniffed them and showed no interest.
No funny ingredients as I can pronounce everything that's in them, very healthy choice. Happy to buy any treats that are made in the USA and such high quality at a good price. Will be recommending these to our fellow dog-loving friends.
Our pup loves these little sticks. We take them on our walks and hand them out to the neighbors dogs and we feel like celebrities when they see us coming around the block.
My dog sat at the cabinet door and waited for me to give her one !!!!
