Feeding Instructions
For Adult Cats feed 1.5 - 4.5 cans per 4-8 lbs body weight per day. For Nursing or pregnant animals feed 2 to 3 times the adult amount For Kittens feed 2 to 3 times the adult amount Provide fresh drinking water at all times. Refrigerate any unused portion
While it’s perfectly safe to stop feeding your cat’s previous food one day and introduce Fussie Cat the next, we recommend a gradual transition to Fussie Cat for up to 2 weeks. This is especially true if your cat has been previously fed a high grain, corn, wheat or soy diet. Start by introducing a small amount of Fussie Cat, increasing it daily while decreasing the previous food by the same amount. This will help avoid upset stomachs as it makes it easier for your pet’s digestive system to acclimate.

Marmalade, a stray with missing teeth loves the mousse. It’s perfect for him to lick and swallow. It took awhile to find a nutritious food that he could and would eat. He has a case of the chicken and the sardine flavor as well. Plus, the mousse has pumpkin mixed in it, so it’s also good for his digestive system. We have a very happy cat.

Very soft, close to being like baby food

I have a 16-yr-old who can be a sporadic eater and another in kidney failure, so keeping them eating can be challenging. For the first few days, they both loved it, now it's sometime yes, sometimes no. The texture is great, not sure they care for the flavors - ingredients are very similar. They also aren't interested in foods they previously ate, so it's at least partially their age/conditions. Worth a try if you have one that wants to lick their food - make sure it's the mousse variety if that's what you're looking for.

Unfortunately more gets stuck in the can and unable to spoon out. It’s too sticky. Cats like it but end up having to open 3 cans to give them a meal.
