Are these pieces flat or chunky?

Some pieces are flat and some pieces of the aquarium sea glass is flat and chunky.

I would like to add a layer of sea glass to my 50 gallon tank how many bags would I need?

This will depend on high thick you would like the substrate to be. As a general rule we recommend using 1 pound of substrate per gallons of tank for a 1 inch thick substrate or 22 pounds per gallons of tank for 2 inch thick substrate.

Is this glass very opaque? I'm wondering if it will glimmer in the water with light on it, or if it has more of a soft matte look to it.

Some of the lighter glass colors is can be seem through but not 100%. Most of the glass becomes contrasted underwater, similar to stones and rocks. The majority of the glass colors will have a more contrasted matte look underwater.

This glass measures approximately 1-2 inches in both length and height and about 1/4-3/4 inch in width.

This is NOT sea glass. It is mostly ground up glass residue. The few bigger pieces are too sharp. Sea glass is smooth! NOT recommended for aquariums. Frankly,

It was not sea glass

The glass lightly colored bit were broken up bottles I had to clean stickers of the glass So this was false description. It was bottles broken up Not happy and

Pictured were decent size pieces of beach glass. What I received was 80-85 percent crushed glass with few bigger pieces that were either the neck or bottom of glass
