This can be used outside and inside.
How long do these last outdoors?

These bird houses will last years in normal conditions. Putting them in harsh weather will cause them to deteriorate faster or putting them in direct sunlight will cause them to lose their color faster. Shady, covered positions would be the best.

Pretty and natural
I've had this hanging in the backyard for a while. No birds have come around, but it's gorgeous. It may be that the backyard birds are too big for this house. I'm going to try moving into the inner part of a tree, where the smaller birds play.

Bird House
I just ordered two of these and placed them outside (see pic). The birds love them. They are all natural and can be picked apart by the nesting birds, also the hummingbirds like to sit at the perch. Get value for price. Will be buying more.

birdhouses
Very disappointed... I love wrens and the photo looks like a no perch nest which would be a wren house. I should have read the dimensions! It has a perch and is way bigger than it appears in the photo. I love the fresh greens look!
