Oftentimes coconut fiber that's on the affordable side will have plastic debris, or will smell bad. This fiber was very clean and consistent in texture. Once hydrated, a 72-qt package is enough to cover the floor of a 4x2 enclosure about 3 inches deep. I use it for a corn snake and it works perfectly.
