I actually created an account on Chewy to leave this review. I have been using this e-collar for two years, and all I can say it is incredible. I have read other reviews, and concluded that frankly others don't understand how to use an e-collar. The collar is designed to offer graded stimulation, with only one setting for vibrate and tone. If you feel uncomfortable using an e-collar and only want a vibrate feature, save your money and buy a cheap collar. However, if you really want a durable, effective, and elegantly simple-to-use e-collar this is the one. I love that there are no LED screens to try to read in the sunlight. The range is great, and I have never been out of touch with my dog (a pretty big-ranging German Shorthaired Pointer). The toggle to other collars is also really easy and simple (by the way, you can get multiple collars from GARMIN that work with this transmitter. Do not buy a duplicate transmitter just to get an extra collar.) I love that I can turn the running lights on when I let my dog out at night. The only aspect of this collar I have not utilized in the bark collar feature. This is the think I have bought. All I use is tone and vibrant. In the past 2 months I only had to use the shock part 5 times. Now you can put it in bark mode where if your dog barks it will start low at level 1 and go up until he or she stops. Then it will remember that spot until you turn it off... battery has a long lifespan. I charge it every 2-3 days. Remote every week or so. It does have a led light bulb on the collar but I don’t recommend using it... because it will kill the battery fast... you can but 3 collars per remote...

Really nice quality. Awesome features. I subtracted a star because this is a semi expensive collar, and they don't include a pocket clip, or lanyard, and they don't even tell you it doesn't come with a clip/lanyard.

I’ve just been using it a couple days so far for my overly exuberant lab Chesapeake mix. He barks in the car at everyone and tries to jump on everyone. He’s had a lot of training, he’s just young and excitable. I’ve used other remote trainers in the past but never one that is combined with a bark collar. My only wish with this unit was that you could use the remote trainer aspect and the bark limiter at the same time or at least toggle back and forth on the remote. I’m not always quick enough to correct him for barking with the remote and if he only gets corrected for barking occasionally, it will take longer to train him not to bark excessively. I absolutely love this collar. It has a flash light you can shine for night time. A handy vibration mode instead of having to shock your dog each time. Downfall, I have 2 dogs. I'm trying to find the exact same collar (since it says the remote is compatible for 3 dogs at once) BUT I CANT FIND JUST THE COLLAR. it's a bummer but I love it so much that if I can't find it at cabelas, I will buy a whole other one.

Hands down the BEST e-collar on the market. Used by professional trainers including military and PD. The other reviewer obviously didn’t read the full instructions and doesn’t understand the modes of this very versatile e-collar. Vibration mode is for soft dogs or even used as reward for working dogs when commands are followed. Tone mode is excellent for recalling your dog. We keep our dogs on level 3 electronic stimulation and tap the continuous button until the dog complies with our command. We use level 4 when the dogs are in full drive performing bite training or playing with a tug or ball. Please watch a YouTube video review on the function of this collar or actually read the instructions and test the collar out before putting it on your dog. Do the proper research for your dogs benefit. Thinking that a gentle vibration is going to make your dog listen to you is ridiculous and rating this collar with 1 star is unfair when the user doesn’t understand how to operate the product. You can use one remote on up to 3 dogs with the 3 different channel frequencies. It’s fantastic. In order to take advantage of the other functions you have to switch the dial into aux mode and you will have a convenient flashlight/beacon light or a barklimiter for dogs who bark constantly at guests or when alone or when put in their kennel. The collar comes with the charger and battery will last over 2 days long before needing a recharge. This e-collar gets a 3/4 mile range. This product is very humane and doesn’t harm the dogs one bit. It simply reminds them to obey delivering a gentle electric stimulation. Doctors even use this technology for patient therapy with a TENS machine. It just causes slight discomfort but that’s all. Our dogs are very happy and very obedient. They are all working dogs from knpv bloodlines. We love love this product. … more

This was our 5th purchase of a dog training collar and the last. We returned the previous 4 different brand name training collars. The previous 4 had no effect on our 85 pound pitty whatsoever! He’s a very well behaved dog but has a couple of bad habits we’d like to break him of. This trainer worked immediately and it is set on level five. Hands down worth every penny!!!!

I bought the expensive e-collar and quite disappointed. There is only 1 level of tone or vibration intensity. It is quite low and my dog got use to it very quickly. Not sure if I got unlucky and got a dog -ecollar dysfunctional - Let see if the company is going to help in fixing the problem
