I went from Los Angeles to Atlanta with my 5 year old cat in this carrier. And it could not have been easier. They thought of everything with this product. They: have backpack straps, wheels to roll it, a leveler feature so you pet is level as you roll it through an airport. It fits under the seat AND it even has a latch to secure your pets harness so your pet cannot jump out when you zip open to clear security. I am 100% pleased with this product and today I sent this info to my daughter who is about to travel home for Christmas with a new kitten. I do ABSOLUTELY recommend this product. Well done folks! And thank you...!
This is an extremely nice, well made carrier. It took about two seconds before my cat made a den out of it so I'm sure it is cozy. I agree with another reviewer that it isn't easy stuffing an already uptight cat down in the small opening in front so I suggest putting them in through the side door which opens completely to a relatively large opening that a cooperating kitty could walk ( or be shoved ) right into. My only complaint is that the rear wheels do not swivel. Other than that it's almost perfect.
I purchased two of these. More for myself than the cats. I love the ease and mobility of this product. As for the demons not thrilled at all
First: I haven't used this yet. It seems to be a well thought out design. I have a big male cat--long and 14 pounds that makes lifting him in a carrier and getting him down the elevator to the car a back breaker. I bought this because several people with large cats gave it good reviews. I may have to put him in through the side but it is well padded so he will be fine until he rights himself. It is easy to change from one use to another with a series of snaps and straps. And, if all else fails, he can sleep in it. He has already checked it out as a den and seems pleased with the purchase but is yet innocent of its purpose--vet trips.
I was so happy to find this cool carrier for my relatively large cats since carrying them in normal carriers is back breaking and I was looking forward to rolling it. Sadly the openings are too small to get them in easily, since it's never easy to put them in a carrier, but once inside, they were pretty stuffed in. They aren't any bigger than that dog in the picture, but I guess the key is to leave the thing unzipped like the dog in the picture and I guess they thought so too because they are able to unzip the stupid thing and get out. So, an expensive piece of pet equipment rendered completely useless.
I got this carrier to take my 10 lb dog on the train and trolley system. While it is adequate, the bottom is too thin and not comfortable for the dog if there are any bumps on the road. I ended up inserting folded towels as a cushion. The shoulder straps are on the thin side, and I avoided using the contraption as a backpack out of fear they would come undone. I wish the carrier had handles on the sides too, because if is a bit hard to get it up and down stairs quickly as one goes up and down stairs. Most trains have a second floor, and there are also steps to get in / out at the stations. I think this carrier is great if only traveling short distances, in flat surfaces.
Very well made and sturdy. Tortilla LOVES it! She jumped into it immediately, and likes being carted around!
I have not used yet, but I will be ready. At almost 73, I am unable to pick up my 17 1/2lb cat any longer I donated my other carrier to my neighbor for her 5th cat. It looks well build.
It’s nice and roomy and will be great to roll my 13 pound Siamese boy arrow down rather than strain my back by carting him!
Its a great carrier, but as I checked in for my flight on American the agent measured and weighed. The carrier was 2" too wide. Well they allowed me and Toothpick to go ahead because she was so small and I begged and said I could squish her. Only it fit better on the commuter plane, but did not fit under the first class( splurged to be sure we had room) seat on the full sized plane. On the return flights, a little better on the different aircraft that day thankfully. we had 3 hours of delay stuck in the plane! I wont be able to use flying again
