Very nice but too small for 15 lb cat

This is a quality carrier, but it is too narrow for a 15 lb cat to be comfortable. Height is fine, but its too narrow. I used it once for a quick trip to the vet, but it would NOT work for any kind of distance travel. Great for a tiny dog or very small cat.

Worked Very Well

I purchased this for a rescue cat that hates to go into a carrier. (She was found left in a garbage bag inside of a carrier - so I get it.) It was so much easier to get her inside this carrier. I laid the carrier on its side and used the side entrance. It was large enough to get her in without her getting as good a "foothold" as she could with my other carrier. It was nice to transport her using the wheels and the handle. I also liked using the top strap or the backpack straps. Since I did not wish to put this on as a "backpack" I crossed the straps to take out some of the slack. My cat has her claws but did not try to get out so I do not know how well the mesh will hold up with a cat who digs into the mesh. There was plenty of room for the cat in this carrier and she had plenty of "windows" to look out and for air to get in. So far I am very pleased with this carrier.

Best carrier out there for saving your back

I've had this carrier for several years and it has carried cats-all sizes and all states of mind ( you know what I mean if you have a cat), plus it carried my inseparable "twin" puppies ( a yorkie and a chi) from 8 weeks old through to the end, together! It's very roomy if you have to take two small pets, a 22 lb. cat, or one pudgy English bulldog puppy who weighed more than 25 lbs. I have appreciated the smooth wheel action on various surfaces- just picked it up with the handle if going over grassor steps, the reliable and sturdy zippers have never stuck, the telescoping handle does not weakly twist and turn, it stays in line with the carrier part. There are two side pockets for meds, vet notes, toys or treats. It can belt into the seat of my car, and though I have never used it as a back pack, the straps look well padded and sturdy. I like that the soft fabric pieces inside ( back and bottom) can be taken out and washed, and that there is a small tether inside for a collar. There are other carriers out there but none have all these features and the amount of space for this price. I just recommended this rolling carrier to a friend who just adopted two inseparable baby Dachsund siblings which she takes in to work along with her work bag and their "baby bag". The hard carrier she has been using is heavy and cumbersome and is hard to carry along with all the bags she carries in to work.

Excellent carrier

Very nice carrier- sturdy, well constructed, easy to use. I like the full handle opposed to the stick handle. A couple treats and my cat was in and willing to go. He did need time to have it in the laying down position to see what it was like, but did relax and loved being outside. Rolled well on side walk. Well packaged, prompt delivery (as always), good instruction. I hope this to be a very good investment, more costly than others but more great design features and appears to be very sturdy, allowing my cat to easily see out but plenty of privacy so feels safe plus there are roll down covers for complete privacy- a cat necessity at times.

Life changing

After having to walk several blocks with a 12 pound cat in a standard carrier, I bought this wheeled carrier and it is a 100% game changer. I went with this one instead of some less expensive models because reviews indicated that the pull up handle was pretty sturdy, although only time will tell about that. The carrier is well thought out. The bottom can be adjusted so that it is flat when the carrier is being wheeled at an angle. It has loops to attach to a seat belt and straps for use as a backpack, w high I tucked away neatly. It holds my 15 pounder comfortably also.

This is a great carrier!!!!

I wasn’t going to get this carrier based on a handful of negative reviews. Since the carrier was on sale, I decided to purchase it. It’s very roomy for my plus sized cat and it’s sturdy. Matilda tried to bite and claw through the mesh and it held up to her assault. I love the long handle and the wheels function perfectly. This carrier makes getting on NYC public transportation sooooo much easier.

Difficulty with carrier

I was looking forward to using the carrier in New York City. My poodle is 12 lbs. I found the carrier to be top heavy and fell over multiple times. It was also difficult to pull the carrier facing me, rather than behind me. In a busy city I would like to have the dog facing me. I was very disappointed and the dog was happier just walking.

Rolling Pet carrier

The pet carrier itself is great product although my pet did not fit comfortably inside.

Really a fun purchase

This is made good. My dog just sits there as he is wheeled around. When I ask him if he wants to go for a ride, he runs right over to jump right in.
