Questions & Answers

52 Customer Questions

Can this steoiler be used on right terrain? Some gravel and or wooded ground ?
Answer by ChewyJul 02, 2017
This has an all-terrain front convertible wheel.

Does the stroller have an opening in the back for easy access to your pet?
Answer by ChewyJun 15, 2022
This stroller does not have an opening in the rear to access the pet, it features a mesh window in the rear for ventilation.

The stroller I currently have is good, but has one major flaw. When my dog (20 pounds) sits in the back of the stroller and we are on an incline there is a tendency for the stroller to tip over. Is this stroller better balanced to prevent this?
Answer by ChewyJul 12, 2017
The rear axle of this stroller sits below the back of the carriage area, providing excellent stability. Extreme inclines may still be able to compromise this.

Will two dogs, 10lbs each fit with room to lay down?
Answer by ChewyJun 16, 2019
This stroller may be able to hold 2 pets with a combined weight under 50 pounds, depending on their size. The interior measures 25 x 13 x 22 inches (length x width x height).

Super Investment

Took this stroller out for a first time use today. Our dog LOVED IT, no crying, sat in it and looked around, and napped and ate and took water when we rested in the shade. I had to cover the front screen with a towel when we were in direct sunlight, no other way to block the sun. Millie is less than 4 mos old, about 6 pounds, we had plans for a very long day in Walnut, IA at the Antique Walk. The entire city is filled with vendors from all over the USA, with some unbelievable antiques! We knew Millie couldn’t stay home alone all day. (6 hour round trip drive plus 6 hours to wander thru the streets of Walnut) I had seen others last year with either a dog stroller or a wagon. I liked the idea of complete coverage, for shade. It was hot as bejesus(93) with high humidity, so we did need the cover. We had her out for walks away from the heavy foot traffic, and she eagerly returned. I followed all the build directions, had no trouble with the front wheel or any of the other reported problems that were posted by previous customers. We loved it It was sturdy Millie had a great day in it!

Bought for one dog, used for the other

So we got this stroller to use for our recently rescued American Pocket Bully. After pouring over reviews of several strollers, I thought this one would be big enough for her and tall enough for my husband. She has very short legs and gets winded/over heated. We also like to visit breweries where dogs are welcome. It turned out to be just a hair too short for her length wise but when our chihuahua mix saw us putting it together, he lost his mind! He was so excited thinking we got HIM a new stroller that we didn’t have the heart to return it for a larger one for Harley. Toby was bouncing around and so happy that we picked him up and plopped him in it and I swear he smiled. He had been using a hand me down stroller from our other dog (who sadly passed away from cancer) and it was kind of in a rough shape. However, Toby really doesn’t go places often (he is also a rescue, elderly and not a social dog, a jerk really) but he likes to sleep in a stroller next to the couch or walk around the neighborhood in one. Needless to say, the old man got this stroller which is amazing, rolls nicely and I like that the mesh goes up into the hood instead of down into the bed of the stroller. We ended up buying a large jogging stroller from a small local pet boutique for Harley.

disappointed

I am a hearing impaired person and my dog is a senior (retired) hearing dog/ service dog I have had for 13 years named Gracie. Lately she has developed arthritis that makes climbing stairs and walking more than a couple city blocks painful. I bought this stroller--more costly than some models--because I thought we would go for long walks. Imagined it would last a long time. I trusted Chewie. We are regular auto-ship customers. Today, the third time we have been able to use the stroller due to awful weather, we got two blocks and the front wheels fell off. I retrieved the assembly directions and the wheels no longer "lock" in place as they are supposed to. I am VERY disappointed. Since the parts are plastic, I can see no way to repair it. If you are thinking of buying this stroller for your beloved pet, companion, or retired service dog, don't!

Gen7Pets Promenade stroller

We have a 13 pound Havanese and this is more than large enough for him. He had his first stroller ride while in AZ recently, sat in one for the first time and we took him to a restaurant with outside service and he loved it. He was able to sit between my husband and me and be part of the group, stayed in it and curled up and went to sleep. Since that first ride, it helped him to be around some other dogs and get comfortable with them before walking amongst them. Great investment! Will come in handy for other excursions. Would recommend getting one for older dogs, anxious dogs, any age.

Love this stroller

I love this stroller. It is durable, easy to collapse, and my Clyde loves riding in it. I bought my first Gen7 stroller about 7 years ago, it was used everyday for work and it is still in very good condition and now belongs to a senior dog.

It works but lacking instruction

Is the front wheel supposed to swivel when you turn, because mine isn't and just skids when you turn a corner. Also no where in the instructions does it tell you how to use the rear brakes or what the button and slide on the handle are for/ how to use them. My stroller won't fully collapse so trying to store it is challenging!

Corona beauty gets wheels!

I love taking my Toy Australian Shepherd shopping with me. I was in the market for a Dog Stroller that I could open easily, would work for my 28 pound dog and zipper so she would not lick or bother other shoppers. I choose this one because it met all the criteria and works perfectly! Stella is happy rolling around in her new stroller!

Great for dog and cats!

We purchased this for our senior dog so we wouldn’t have to carry him home from long walks. It has worked out well. There is a zipped compartment for balls/treats/ jackets underneath the stroller . As an added bonus, our 2 indoor cats love it and now go for short morning walks with us. All our animals approve.

Great Product for my Cat!

My cat actually seems to be really enjoying this stroller; he's usually very nervous about leaving home -former stray- but I've noticed that the two times we've been out, he's been curious and able to sit and observe his surroundings without trying to escape, the way he does with his carrier. Can't wait to continue taking him for walks now!

Fantastic stroller

Well built sturdy stroller. Remember when you put together, it’s easier if you adjust the brake when putting on the wheels. Love Chewy for their fast delivery!!
