As a first time user of an air purifier, I think this one is doing it's job well! Recently had a change of living arrangements that means I'm now sharing a room with my cat almost all the time, and I've got dust allergies that won't mix well with even more cat hair. But my allergies have been doing pretty well since I got this purifier. I will warn you all though, that most purifiers don't say as much in descriptions, but they need to be kept at a certain distance from furniture and walls to 'function best'. My living place is pretty small so that's been impossible to arrange - so just take that into account if you're thinking of investing in one and you have a small apartment! One room down and another room to go. This product works wonderfully so far. It's quiet and fits in the space where I have it. There has been no issues so far.
